on the declaration of conversion tables of classification grades under international treaties binding the Czech Republic
The National Security Office, pursuant to Article 23 (4) of Act No. 412 / 2005 Coll., on the Protection of classified information and on security competence, as amended, announces the following conversion tables of classification degrees under international agreements binding on the Czech Republic:
Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the United States of America on measures to protect classified military information signed on 19 September 1995
The classified military information of the Czech Republic shall be identified by the classification grades "RESERVED," "CONFIDENTIAL," "SECRET" or "INCLUDING SECRET."
The classified military information of the United States of America is referred to as "CONFIDENTIAL '," SECRET' or "TOP SECRET '.
If the Czech Republic denotes classified military information by classification
"RESERVED ', this information will be identified by the United States of America's classification" CONFIDENTIAL',
"CONFIDENTIAL ', this information will be identified by the United States of America's classification" CONFIDENTIAL',
"SECRET ', this information will be identified by the United States of America's SECRET classification,
"INDISTINCTLY SECRET ', this information will be identified by the United States of America's" TOP SECRET' classification.
If the United States identifies classified military information
"CONFIDENTIAL ', this information will be marked by the Czech Republic with a" CONFIDENTIAL' classification,
"SECRET ', this information will be marked by the Czech Republic by the classification" SECRET',
"TOP SECRET," this information will be marked by the Czech Republic by the classification "INCLUDING SECRET."
Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Republic of Latvia on the reciprocal protection of classified information
In the Czech Republic, classified information is referred to as RESERVED, CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET, INCLUDING SECRET. In the Republic of Latvia, classified information is referred to as CONFIDENTIALI, SLEPENI and SEVISKI SLEPENI.
The Czech Republic will protect: Latvian classified information CONFIDENCIALI as Czech classified information CONFIDENTIAL, Latvian classified information SLEPENI as Czech classified information SECRET, Latvian classified information SEVIŠKI SLEPENI as Czech classified information NETLY SECRET.
The Republic of Latvia will protect: Czech classified information RELATED AND CONFIDENTIFIED as Latvian classified information CONFIDENTIALI, Czech classified information SECRET AS Latvian classified information SLEPENI, Czech classified information DIRECTLY SECRET AS Latvian classified information SEPENI.

In specific cases, at the request of the Czech Party, classified information classified on the German side will be protected as classified information classified on the VS-VERTRAULICH.

The classified information classified "SECRETNO" *) transmitted by the Russian Party will be marked "SECRETNO" by the Czech Party.
The classified information shall be classified "SECRETNO 'and" CONFIDENTIALITY' by the Russian Party.

The general rule will be that the abovementioned classification levels will be considered equivalent. Accordingly, the classified fact UK CONFIDENTIAL transmitted to the Czech Republic will be transmitted, stored, placed and handled in a manner that provides it with the same protection as the classified facts of the Czech Republic at the level OF CONFIDENTIAL. Exceptionally, one government may request the other to provide protection at a higher level than that required by the indicated classification, but not at a lower level.

The Czech Party shall ensure the protection and handling of non-classified information with the DIFFUSION RESTREINTE designation or equivalent transmitted by the French Party in accordance with its applicable national legislation concerning the facts bearing the MARKS REQUEST. The French Party shall forward to the Czech Party any information necessary to implement this provision.
The French Party shall ensure the protection and handling of classified information transmitted by the Czech Party and bearing the marks established under the applicable national law concerning non-classified information protected as DIFFUSION RESTREINTE.
