DECLARATION

amending Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Nutrition Decree 121 / 1987 Coll., on the Health Assurance of Animal Products
The Ministry of Agriculture provides, pursuant to § 35 (1) (b) of Act No. 87 / 1987 Coll., on Veterinary Care:
Čl. I
Decree No. 121 / 1987 Coll., on the Health Assurance of Animal Products, is amended as follows:
1. after Paragraph 70, the following Paragraph 70a is inserted:
„§ 70a
(1) Raw, dairy-treated cow's or goat's milk and milk products derived from that milk may be supplied for direct consumption by the consumer 22a) at the place of production, subject to the health and veterinary requirements laid down for the treatment of animal products and other conditions laid down for the health of animal products, 22b) including the certificate provided for in Article 10 (1) (c) of Act No 87 / 1987 Coll.
(2) For the milk referred to in paragraph 1, the requirements laid down in Sections 70, 71 to 74 shall also apply and may be delivered for direct consumption to the consumer no later than 24 hours after milking. The milk delivered must be cooled to a temperature not exceeding 6 ° C within 2 hours after milking unless consumed at that time.
(3) Milk and milk products derived from such milk must be processed and stored using technological facilities in premises prepared and approved by veterinary authorities for that purpose. If milk is supplied at the same time for dairy processing, the dairy room in which the milk is concentrated and cooled must be separated from the room intended for direct consumption of milk and milk products to the consumer. In the room from which milk and milk products are supplied to the consumer for direct consumption, it is necessary to place in a visible place a warning with the text "Overcook raw milk before consumption."
(4) For milk referred to in paragraph 1, the following laboratory requirements shall apply:
a) Staphylococcus aureus no more than 5.102 per ml of sample;
(b) zero salmonella incidence in 25 ml of the sample;
(c) the total number of micro-organisms detected in 1 ml of the sample must not be more than 1.105 and the total number of somatic cells more than 4.105 in raw, milk-treated cow's milk;
(d) the total number of micro-organisms found in 1 ml of the sample must not be more than 5.105 in raw, dairy-free goat milk.

2. In Paragraph 79 (2), the words "and goats' are deleted.
