concerning the Agreement on cooperation in the fields of culture, art, science, education and education between the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Government of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia.
On 29 January 1957, the Agreement on cooperation in the fields of culture, art, science, education and education between the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Government of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia was negotiated in Belgrade.
The President of the Republic ratified the Agreement on 30 September 1957 and the instruments of ratification were exchanged in Prague on 28 November 1957.
Pursuant to Article 10 thereof, the Agreement entered into force on 28 November 1957.

AGREEMENT
on cooperation in the fields of culture, art, science, education and education between the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Government of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Government of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia, in an effort to develop friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries and to deepen cooperation by mutual knowledge in all areas of culture, art, science, education and education and education, have decided to conclude an Agreement on cooperation in the field of culture, art, science, education and education and education and to this end have agreed on the following provisions:
The Parties shall promote mutual cooperation in cultural, artistic, scientific, educational and educational activities, as well as the exchange of information from these areas.
The Parties agree to assist and support in particular:
(a) cooperation between scientific and awareness-raising bodies, specialist societies and cultural awareness organisations;
(b) exchange of information and relevant material on the results achieved in culture, art, science, education and education;
(c) the reciprocal hosting of artists and artistic groups, as well as the organisation of artistic and professional exhibitions;
(d) cooperation and mutual visits to cultural, scientific, educational and educational workers and athletes;
(e) the exchange, translation and extradition of scientific, professional, literary and artistic works;
(f) the exchange of scientific, educational and culturally educational films.
The Parties shall promote cooperation in the field of radio and television, as well as film, by agreement between the relevant institutions of both countries.
Each of the Contracting Parties shall facilitate the work of the scientific staff of the other Contracting Party in the institutes, archives, libraries and museums of its country, according to its applicable regulations and the statutes of the relevant institutes.
It shall also enable the study, use and photography of historical materials and documents relating to the history of the other Contracting Party.
Each of the Contracting Parties will, as far as possible, provide scholarships and other types of material assistance for the study, specialisation and scientific research of students, professionals and scientists and artists of the other Contracting Party.
The Parties shall promote cooperation between sports and physical organisations and institutes, exchange of experience in this field, as well as mutual visits to sportsmen and physical workers.
For the implementation of this Agreement, both Parties shall agree in due time the annual plans for major cooperation actions on the cultural, art, science, education and education sectors.
Before negotiating the annual plan, the competent authorities of the Contracting Parties shall exchange proposals. The annual plan shall be discussed and approved at a joint meeting of the authorised representatives of both Parties. Meetings will be held alternately in Prague and Belgrade as needed, at least once a year.
All financial issues relating to the implementation of this Agreement shall be adjusted by both Parties when negotiating the annual plan.
On the basis of reciprocity, the Parties will allow the establishment of cultural information facilities which the Czechoslovak Republic would open in the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia and the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia in the Czechoslovak Republic.
Those establishments shall comply with the legislation applicable to the territory in which they are established.
This Agreement shall be subject to ratification and shall enter into force on the date of exchange of instruments of ratification to be held in Prague.
This Agreement shall be concluded for a period of five years from the date on which it comes into force. If one of the Contracting Parties does not denounce it six months before the end of the relevant period, it shall be extended for an indefinite period, with a notice period of six months.
