Decree on changes to official names of places in 1950

Decree of the Minister for the Interior
of 9 February 1951
on changes in the official names of places in 1950.
The Minister of the Interior declares in accordance with Section 5 of Act No. 266 / 1920 Coll., on the names of cities, municipalities, settlements and streets, as well as the marking of municipalities by local tables and numbering houses:
In 1950, the following new official names were established:
1. In Prague:
In Beroun county:
for the municipality of the Holy Part 2 and for the settlement of the Holy Part 1, which was attached to it from the municipality of Chernin, the name of the Holy One; the names of the Holy Part 1 and the Holy Part 2 have disappeared as the names of the settlements;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of the King of the Court and Potápel, the name of the King's Court; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remained the official names of the parts of the new municipality with the change that the name Crožatka was replaced by the name Crožatka.
In the district of Brandés nad Labem:
for the municipality of Czrčovice, the name Postarolka; the names Czrčovice, Kostomlánek and Podolánek have been deleted as the names of the settlements which have ceased to be merged and are left only as the names of the local parts, with the change in the name of the Podolánek being replaced by the name of Postarka;
for the village resulting from the merger of Ostroa, Pages and Zap the name Zápa; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality.
In Dobří county:
for the municipalities resulting from the farewell of Dobří the names Dobří with the settlement Trnová and Voznice with the settlement Chouzavá.
In Kutna Hora district:
for a municipality formed by the merger of Bludov and Zhora, the name of Zhor; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Bykán and Krupé, the name Bykán; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Kaňka, Kutná Hora, Perstejnice and Sedlce the name Kutná Hora; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Kobylnice and Lisic, the name Kobylnice; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of the municipalities of Kralice and Výsoka the name of Kralice; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Malešov and Polánek, the name Malešov; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger Miletín and Rozkos the name Miletín; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger Tuchotic and Vidic name Vidice; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Zásošenovice and Záslavic, the name Záslavice; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality.
In the district of Mladá Bloslav:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of the municipalities of Bezdečín and Mladá Běslav the name Mladá Běslav; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality of Jabkynice the name Jabkenice;
for the municipalities resulting from the separation of the municipality of Týnec the names Holé Vrky and Týnec;
for the village of Great Zamachy name Zamachy.
In Nové Strašečí district:
for the municipalities resulting from the farewell of the municipality Kamenné Žahrovice the names Kamenné Žahrovice and Serb.
In the district of Nymburk:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Litole and Lysé nad Labem the name Lysá nad Labem; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality.
In Poděbrady district:
for the village of Vlkov, situated near the town of Kralove, the name Vlkov nad Forests;
for the village of Vlkov, situated near Poděbrad, the name Vlkov pod Oškbrhem.
In Praha- south:
for the municipality created by the merger of Lower and Upper Chernošice, the name Chernošice; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Lipan and Lipence, the name Lipence; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality.
In Praha- East:
for the municipality Chodov name Chodov near Prague;
for the municipalities created by the separation of the village Jílové names near Prague with parts (settlements) Jílové near Prague, Kabáty, Radlík, Horní Kladá and Jampach and Luka under Medník with settlements Luka pod Medník, Podločí and Dolní Kladá; the official name Horní Zálená was also established for the smaller village of Žílové, which remained on the territory of the village Jílové near Prague, and for the second part of this previous village, which became the settlement of the village Luka pod Medník, the official name Dolní Zladná;
for the municipality of Skochovice and its settlement Vráné name Vrané nad Vltavou, the official name of the village Skochovice has not changed.
In Praha- west district:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of the municipalities of Dušník and Horelice, the name Rudná; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger Hostivice and Litovice the name Hostivice; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality, the name Číčovice; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality.
In the Kreis Příbram:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Lower and Upper Láz, the name Láz; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality; the official name of the part of the new municipality became the name of the local part of the town of Urněnová, which was attached to it from the municipality of Úběnice.
In the Kreis Rakovnik:
for the municipalities resulting from the separation of the village Ryšín the names Ryšín, the Pustovety and the New House;
for the municipalities resulting from the separation of the municipality Svojetín names Svojetín and Genov.
In the district of Říčany:
for the municipalities formed by the separation of the village of Výstary the names of Výstary with the settlements of Výstara and Menčice and Svtice.
In the district of Sedlčany:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Lhotka and Sedlčan the name Sedlčany; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipalities resulting from the separation of the village of Líchov the names of Líchov with the settlements of Líchov and Bukla and Obstrotice;
the name of the village Podmoky and the names of the settlements Podmoka and Proudkovice remained official names even after the connection of the settlement Pravchlum to the district of Milevsko in the county of Českobudějovický.
In the Vlashim district:
for the settlement Statenbrun (village Horní Lhota) the name Novotinky; the name of the local part has been deleted.
In the Votice district:
for the municipality of Milhost the name Bonkovice; the names of the settlements have remained unchanged.
2. In the region of ČeskoBudějovický:
In the district of České Budějovice:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Boršov and Poříčí the name Boršov nad Vltavou; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality České Podření name Zázace;
for the settlement of the German Replacement (municipality of Zborov) the name Rehabilitation;
the name of the village of uncle, belonging to the village of Záborí, remained the official name of this village even after its connection to the village of Radošovice.
In the district of Český Krumlov:
for the municipality Black name Black in Pošumaví.
In the Kaplice district:
the name Besednice remained the official name of this village even after the connection of its settlement Dolní Lhotka to the village Dobrkovská Lhotka in the district of Market Svina;
for the municipality Schönfelden name Kaplicka and in the same municipality:
for the Hundsruck settlement, the name of the Cemetery,
for the village of Lindberg the name Lipová,
for the Mühldorf settlement, the name of the Mlýnský,
for the village Schönfelden name Beautiful Field and
for the Stern settlement name Star.
In the Kreis Milevsko:
for a village formed from the village of Prážský Chlum, separated from Podmoka in the district of Sedlčany, the region of Pražský, the name Průžlum.
In the Prachatice district:
the name of the municipality of Dolní Nakvasovice and the names of the settlements of Dolní Nakvasovice and Horní Nakvasovice remained official names even after the connection of the settlements of Setějovice and Bolikovice to the district of Vimperk;
for the municipality and settlement of Fefry the name of the Liberian Sedlo;
the name of the village of Horní Cazov, formerly belonging to the village of Řasnice in the district of Vimperk, became the official name of the part of the village of České Žleby, to which this settlement was attached;
the name of the village of Houvná, formerly belonging to the village of Řasnice in the district of Vimperk, became the official name of the part of the village of Lenora to which the village was attached;
for a municipality formed from the settlements of Lenora, Kaplice and Zatoň, separated from the municipality of Horní Vltavice in the district of Vimperk, and from the village of Houžná, separated from the village of Šasnice in the district of Vimperk, the name Lenora;
for the settlement Psí Koryto (municipality Skřínířov) the name Koryto;
the name of the settlement Radvanovice, formerly belonging to the village of Řasnice in the district of Vimperk, became the official name of the part of the village of České Žleby to which the settlement was attached;
The name of the village Vojjlavice, formerly belonging to the municipality of Šumavské Hoštice in the district of Vimperk, became the official name of the part of the village Žárová to which the village was attached.
In Strakonice county:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Příčné Ptákovice and Strakonice, the name Strakonice; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
the name of the Strasice remained the official name of this village even after the connection of its settlement Lhota under Kostrým to the district of Vimperk.
In Market Swine County:
for the village resulting from the merger of Good Water, Hejné Water and Old Hunting name Hojná Water; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the village and settlement of Hlupatou Ves, the name of Intermediate;
the names of the settlement of the South Ves, formerly belonging to the municipality of Kramolín, and the settlement of Nepomuk, formerly belonging to the municipality of Těšínov, remained official names of these settlements after their connection to the municipality of Šalmanovice;
for municipalities resulting from the separation of the village of Keblany the names Keblany and Dobrkovská Lhotka; the name of the village of Dolní Lhotka, formerly belonging to the village of Besednice in the district of Kaplice, became the official name of the part of the village of Dobrkovská Lhotka, to which this settlement was attached; the name of the Dobrkov settlement has not changed;
for municipalities resulting from the farewell of Komarice the names Komarice and Sedlo with settlements Sedlo and Stradov;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Myths and Veverí, the name of Veverí; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality of Stropnice, situated on the northwest edge of the district, the name Lower Stropnice;
for the municipality of Stropnice, located near the New Castles, the name Upper Stropnice;
for the municipality of Trutmaň the name of the Interlesi near Market Svin.
In the Kreis Treboň:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of the municipalities of Krabonoš and Nová Ves nad Lužnicí the name Nová Ves nad Lužnicí; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality.
In Týn nad Vltavou county:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Hvozdna and Popovic, the name Popovice; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality of Smolej, situated on the north-east edge of the district the name Bechynská Smolej;
for the municipality and settlement of Smolek, situated on the northwest edge of the district the name Sícká Smolej.
In the Vimperk district:
the name of the village Upper Vltavice and the names of the settlements Upper Vltavice, Bředová Lada, Havránka, Kubova Huť, Polka, Rakí, Solitude, Slatina and Žlíky have remained official names even after the connection of the settlements Kaplice, Lenora and Zatoň to the district of Prachatice;
the name of the village of Lhota under Kostrým, formerly belonging to the municipality of Strašice in the district of Strakonice, became the official name of the part of the village of Vísek to which the village was attached;
the name of the masonry remained the official name of the village even after the connection of its settlements Horní Cazov, Houdná and Radvanovice to the district of Prachatice;
for a municipality formed from the settlements of Setějovice and Bolíkovice, separated from the municipality of Dolní Nakvasovice in the district of Prachatice, name Setějovice;
Name Bohemian Hoštice remained the official name of this village even after joining its village Vojlavice to the district of Prachatika.
3. In the region of Pilsen:
In the district of Blatná:
for the village of Bezděkov, located near Břednice, the name Bezděkov under Tremšín.
In the Kreis Domažlice:
in the municipality of Šlálenec the name Kubinek was deleted as the name of the settlement which had disappeared;
in the municipality of Maxov the name of Slatina was deleted as the name of the settlement which had disappeared.
In the district of Horšovský Týn:
the names Horka and Knežská were deleted as the names of the settlements that died.
In Klatovy County:
for the municipality of Fuchsberg the name of Fichsberg;
for the village Kreuzberg (municipality Matìjovice) the name Křížová Vrch;
for the village of Pušnik (village of Poleň) the name Liska;
the name of Radošín was deleted from the village of St. Catherine as the name of the settlement which had disappeared;
for the village of Sternov, the name of the Star;
for the settlement Webr and Lindl Court (municipality of St. Catherine) name Dvorky.
In the Plasy district:
for the settlement Pichl (village Únešov) name Lipa.
In the Preštice district:
the name of the village Petrovice, formerly belonging to the municipality of Skukura, remained the official name of the village even after its connection to the village Roupov.
In the district of Rokycany:
for the municipalities formed by saying goodbye to the village of Němčovice the names Němčovice and Kamenec.
In the Stod district:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Lower and Upper Seines, the name of the Sekyřany; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality.
In the Silver district:
for the municipality of Ostrov, situated near Bezdružice, the name of the island near Bezdružice;
for the municipality of Ostrov, situated southeast of Silver, the name of the island near Silver;
for the municipality of Vrbice, situated near Bezdržice, the name Vrbice u Bezdržice;
for the village Vrbice, situated near Silver, the name Vrbice near Silver.
In the Kreis Susice:
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Albrechtic u Susice and Humpolce the name Albrechtice u Susice; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
the name of the village of Vyřeší Krušec, formerly belonging to the village of Vyřeší Těšov, remained the official name of the village even after its connection to the village of Hartmanice;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Vyříšov, Javorí and Moch, the name Těšov near Sušice; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
the names of the settlements Kavrlík and Žlíbek, formerly belonging to the municipality of Tuškov, remained official names of these settlements even after their connection to the municipality of Kašerské Hora;
the name of Štěpanice for the municipality resulting from the merger of Kundratic and Štěpanice; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of the municipalities of Lešišov and Mokrosuky the name of Mokrosuka; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Nahořánek and Strášín, the name Strašín; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
the name of the village Posobice, formerly belonging to the village Dolní Staňkov, remained the official name of the village even after its connection to the village Petrovice;
the name of the village of Žikov, formerly belonging to the village of Dolní Staňkov, remained the official name of the village after its connection to the village of Svojšice.
In the Kreis Tachov:
for the municipality Jalový Duška name Branka;
for the village Pavlovice, situated on the southern edge of the district, the name Pavlíkov.
4. In Karlovy Vary:
In Cheb County:
the name Dolní Částkov for the municipality, formed by a separation from the village of the same name; the name Parstkov has disappeared;
for the municipality and settlement of Mühlbach the name of the Limit above Ohří;
for the village and settlement Vildštejn name Skalná.
In Jáchymov county:
for a community created by the merger of God's Dar and the Riesling, the name of God's Dar; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality, except for Halbmeil, which was replaced by the name Interface and Steinhöhe, which was replaced by the name Kopeček;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Háje and Loučná name Loučná; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of the Upper Hale, Médelec and Vykman's name Médelec; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Jáchymov and Popova, the name Jáchymov; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;

for the municipality resulting from the merger of Upper Lomnice, Pastvin and Zakšov the name Zakšov; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Lesova and Sadova, the name of Sadov; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Lipoltova and Velichov, the name Velichov; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of the municipalities of Intereroli and Niva, the name of Intereroli; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Mlýnský, Staré Vsi and Svatobor, the name Svatobor; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality formed by the merger of Rudné and Vysoké Peci the name Vysobí Pec; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality.
In Kraslice county:
for the municipality of Kostelní (formerly Kührberg), the name of the Medemountain;
the name of the village of Nové Domy, formerly belonging to the municipality of Boučí in the district of Sokolov, became the official name of the part of the village of Hora to which the village was attached;
the name Tis for the municipality resulting from the merger of Tis and Green Mountains; the names of the merged municipalities remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality.
In the district of Mariánska Lazne:
The name of the settlement of the Three-Consciousness, formerly belonging to the village of Nadlesí in the district of Sokolov, became the official name of the part of the village of Hrušková to which this settlement was attached.
In Podborany county:
the name of Libya for the municipality resulting from the merger of Upper Záhoří and Libya; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the municipality resulting from the merger of Lubence and Vítkovice, the name Luenec; the names of the merged municipalities and their settlements remain the official names of the parts of the new municipality;
for the village Žďár, located in the southwest part of the district, name Žďárek.
In Sokolov county:
the name Boučí remained the official name of this village even after the connection of its settlement Nové Domy to the district of Kraslice;
the name Horní Částkov for the municipality formed by a legal separation from the same-name settlement of the municipality of Částkov from the district of Cheb;
