on the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen on the visa waiver for members of the Contracting States on business trips
On 14 September 1981, the Agreement was signed in Aden between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen on the visa waiver for members of the Contracting States on business trips. The Agreement shall enter into force on 15 April 1982 on the basis of Article 9 thereof.
The Czech version of the Agreement is hereby published at the same time.

AGREEMENT
between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen on the visa waiver for members of the Contracting States on business trips
Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and Government of the Yemeni People's Democratic Republic
led by the desire to consolidate and further develop friendly relations between the two countries and create favourable conditions for the travel of their citizens
agree on the following:
Citizens of one Contracting Party holding a valid diplomatic, service or special passport may enter the territory of the other Contracting Party for the purpose of temporary residence or transit and travel without visa.
1. Persons referred to in Article 1 of this Agreement may stay in the territory of the other Contracting Party for the duration of their secondment or stay.
2. The provisions of paragraph 1 shall also apply to members of the family (spouses and minors) who live or are registered with persons referred to in Article 1 of this Agreement in the common household, provided that they hold or are entered in valid travel documents listed in the Annex to this Agreement.
Persons referred to in Article 1 of this Agreement may cross the national borders of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Yemen People's Democratic Republic at border crossing points for international travel.
1. Citizens of one Contracting Party shall comply with the legislation of that Contracting Party during their stay in the territory of the other Contracting Party.
2. This Agreement shall not affect the right of the Contracting Parties to refuse entry into their territory to persons deemed undesirable or to terminate their stay without giving reasons for this Decision to the other Contracting Party.
If exceptional circumstances (epidemics, natural disasters, etc.) so require, the implementation of this Agreement shall be temporarily restricted or terminated, at the request of one of the Contracting Parties. The Parties shall inform each other, if possible in advance and at the latest 24 hours after they have taken a decision, of the introduction of this measure and its repeal.
Citizens of one Contracting Party who have lost their travel document in the territory of the other Contracting Party shall immediately inform the competent authority of that Contracting Party, which shall issue to them a certificate of the expiry of the travel document. On the basis of this confirmation, a diplomatic mission or consular post shall issue a replacement travel document to the citizen of its State. Departure on a replacement travel document shall be governed by the laws of the Contracting Party in whose territory the travel document has been disposed of.
The national provisions of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Yemeni People's Democratic Republic on registration are not affected by this Agreement.
1. The Contracting Parties shall exchange, by diplomatic means, the specimens of the travel documents listed in the Annex to this Agreement and the details of their applicability.
2. In the event of a change in such travel documents, the Contracting Parties shall send their new designs together with the information on the applicability of such documents by diplomatic means no later than 60 days before their introduction.
1. This Agreement shall enter into force 60 days after the date of exchange of the model travel documents referred to in Article 8 (1) of this Agreement, but not before 30 days after its signature.
2. This Agreement shall be concluded for an indefinite period and shall remain in force for 3 months from the date on which one of the Contracting Parties denies it in writing by diplomatic means.
Done at Aden, 14 September 1981, in two original copies, each in the Czech and Arabic languages, the two texts being equally authentic.
