concerning the Agreement on Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco
On 19 January 1979, the Agreement on Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco was signed in Rabat. The Agreement entered into force on 7 December 1979 pursuant to Article 8 thereof.
The Czech translation of the text of the Agreement is announced simultaneously.

AGREEMENT
on cultural cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco
Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and Government of the Kingdom of Morocco
- led by the desire to develop cooperation in the fields of culture, education and science between the two countries
- convinced that such cooperation will contribute to strengthening mutual relations
agree on the following provisions:
In particular, the Parties shall promote the exchange of:
(a) scientists, professors, students and trainees;
(b) artists, ensembles of art, personalities of the cultural world, exhibitions of artistic crafts, exhibitions of art as well as other exhibitions of a scientific and information nature;
(c) books and other publications from those areas covered by this Agreement;
(d) athletes and sports teams.
The Parties shall conclude a specific agreement on mutual recognition of diplomas, titles and degrees awarded by the educational establishments of both Parties.
Each Party shall provide objective information on the other in its curriculum and textbooks.
Each Party shall grant to nationals of the other Party a scholarship for studies or traineeships for the purpose of their studies at national educational and research establishments, while respecting the internal rules of such establishments.
The Parties shall promote cooperation between their radio, television, film and press organisations. To this end, they will exchange film and information programmes as well as other documentation to contribute to a better understanding of each other.
Each Party will promote the translation and publication of the most important national works of the other Party in the field of science, literature and art.
In order to implement this Agreement, the Contracting Parties shall agree implementing programmes.
This Agreement shall be subject to approval in accordance with the constitutional procedures applicable in each of the two countries.
It will be in force as soon as both parties have notified each other of the fulfilment of the respective constitutional formalities.
This Agreement shall be concluded for a five-year period and shall be automatically renewed for a further five-year period unless it is terminated by one of the Contracting Parties within a period of six months before its expiry.
In the event of termination of this Agreement, the persons covered by the Agreement shall enjoy its benefits until the end of the calendar year concerned and the scholarships until the completion of their studies.
