on the adoption of an amendment to Article 43 (2) of the Convention on the Rights of the Child
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that on 12 December 1995 an amendment to Article 43 (2) of the Convention on Rights of the United Kingdom (1) was adopted in New York.
The Parliament of the Czech Republic agreed to the amendment and the President of the Republic signed the instrument of acceptance of the amendment. The instrument of acceptance of the amendment to the Convention by the Czech Republic was deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, depositary of the Convention, on 23 May 2000.
The amendment entered into force under Article 50 (2) of the Convention on 18 November 2002 and entered into force on that date for the Czech Republic.
The English version of the amendment and its translation into the Czech language are announced simultaneously.

Translation of international contract into Czech language
Amendment of Article 43 (2) of the Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted at the Conference of the Parties on 12 December 1995.
It is decided to adopt an amendment to Article 43 (2) of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and to replace the word "10 'by the word" 18'.
