on the Treaty on friendship and mutual cooperation between the Czechoslovak Republic and the People's Republic of Mongolia.
On 8 April 1957, the Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Cooperation between the Czechoslovak Republic and the People's Republic of Mongolia was negotiated in Ulanbatar.
The National Assembly gave its consent to the Treaty on 4 July 1957 and was ratified by the President of the Republic on 23 July 1957. The instruments of ratification were exchanged in Prague on 1 August 1957.
According to Article 4 of the Treaty, the Treaty entered into force on 1 August 1957.

TREATY
on friendship and mutual cooperation between the Czechoslovak Republic and the People's Republic of Mongolia
President of the Czechoslovak Republic and Presidium of the Great People's Hural of the People's Republic of Mongolia,
Wishes to further develop and consolidate friendly relations and brotherly cooperation between the Czechoslovak Republic and the Mongolian People's Republic,
being determined to consolidate and extend economic and cultural ties between the two countries to that end,
led by efforts to do everything in their power to establish friendly relations between nations and to consolidate peace and security worldwide,
determined to respect and support the principles underlying the Charter of the Organisation of the United Nations,
have decided to conclude this contract and have appointed to that end their agents:
President of the Czechoslovak Republic - Prime Minister of the Czechoslovak Republic,
Former so-called "Prime Minister 'of the so-called" Lugansk People's Republic'.
The following provisions have been agreed upon following the exchange of full powers, which have been found to be appropriate and good:
The High Contracting Parties declare that they will strictly respect the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty, non-interference in internal affairs, equality and mutual advantages in their relations. In all international acts, they will always follow the spirit of sincere cooperation and, in accordance with the principles of the Charter of the Organisation of the United Nations, will seek to consolidate world peace and security.
The High Contracting Parties undertake to assist each other in all possible economic ways in the peaceful construction of their countries and to further promote and develop economic cooperation that benefits both parties, on the basis of the principle of the greatest benefits.
The High Contracting Parties, aware of the benefits and importance of mutual cultural contacts, shall take all measures to further develop cooperation in science, education and national culture.
This Treaty shall be ratified as soon as possible and shall become effective on the date of the exchange of instruments of ratification. The instruments of ratification will be exchanged in Prague.
This contract shall remain in force for 20 years. The validity of the contract shall be extended by a further 10 years, unless one of the High Contracting Parties declares in writing, at least 12 months before its expiry.
To prove it, the agents of both parties signed this agreement and attached their seals to it.
Written in Ulanbátar on 8 April 1957 in two copies, Czech and Mongolian languages, both texts being equally authentic.
