Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that an agreement was negotiated between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the amendment of Annex 1 to the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Republic of Poland on border crossings, crossings on tourist paths intersecting national borders and principles for crossing national borders outside border crossings signed in Warsaw on 22 November 1996, published under No 23 / 1998 Coll.
The Agreement entered into force on 2 December 1998.
The Czech translation of the Polish note and the Czech version of the Czech note are announced simultaneously.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland has shown respect for the Embassy of the Czech Republic and has the honour, following paragraph 10 of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Czech Republic on border crossing points, crossing national borders and the principles of crossing national borders outside border crossing points, signed in Warsaw on 22 November 1996, to propose the following amendments to Annex 1 to the Agreement:
In point 16 of the Lubawka - Royal, in column 4 of the letter And by adding the letters SC and in column 6 the addition of the text - "limitation to 6 tonnes of useful weight of vehicles registered in the Republic of Poland and the Czech Republic, with the exception of transport of dangerous goods."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland proposes that, in the event of the agreement of the Government of the Czech Republic with the proposal of the Government of the Republic of Poland, this note and the reply form an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Czech Republic, which will enter into force on the date of receipt of the reply.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland uses this opportunity to reassure the Czech Embassy with its profound respect.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic shows respect for the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and has the honour to confirm receipt of the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland no. DPT 1214-14-97 of 11 December 1997 concerning the amendment of Annex 1 to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Czech Republic on border crossings, crossings on tourist paths intersecting state borders and principles of crossing state borders outside border crossings signed in Warsaw on 22 November 1996.
The Government of the Czech Republic has agreed to the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland for the following amendment to Appendix 1 to the Agreement:
In point 16 - King - Lubawka, column 4 of the letter A by adding the letter N and in column 6 by adding the text: "N up to 6 t useful weight, registered in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Poland, with the exception of transport of dangerous goods."
The Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland DPT 1214-14-97 of 11 December 1997 constitutes, at the same time as the relevant note, an agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Republic of Poland which will enter into force on the date of receipt of the note by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall have the honour, following the above, to request confirmation of receipt of this note, including the date on which this Agreement enters into force.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic uses this opportunity to reassure the Embassy of the Republic of Poland with its profound respect.
