DECLARATION
of 31 March 2009
amending Decree No. 30 / 2001 of the Ministry of Transport and Communications Coll., implementing the rules on road traffic and the adaptation and management of road traffic, as amended
The Ministry of Transport provides pursuant to § 137 (2) and for the implementation of § 62 (5) of Act No. 361 / 2000 Coll., on road traffic and on amendments to certain laws (Road Traffic Act), as amended:
Decree No. 30 / 2001 Coll., implementing the rules on road traffic and the adaptation and management of road traffic, as amended by Decree No. 153 / 2003 Coll., Decree No. 176 / 2004 Coll., Decree No. 193 / 2006 Coll., Decree No. 507 / 2006 Coll. and Decree No. 202 / 2008 Coll., are amended as follows:
1. in Article 6 (2) (b):
"(b) a vertical stop or stop sign which applies only to the side of the road at which it is located.";
2. In Article 7, the dot is replaced by a comma at the end of paragraph 1 and the following point (ii) is added:
"(ii)" Movable bridge "(No A 33), which draws attention to the proximity of the movable bridge."
3. in Article 10 (1) (z), "30 April" is replaced by "31 March."
4. In Article 12 (1), the words "the symbol of this mark may be replaced on the motorway and on the road for motor vehicles by a text bearing the name of the circuit in black characters on a white background and placed above the relevant signal 'shall be added at the end of the text of point (a).
5. In Article 12, at the end of paragraph 1, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following points (oo) and (pp) are added:
"oo)" Speed measurement "(No IP 31a), which indicates the beginning of the measurement section by municipal police;
pp) "End of measurement of speed" (No IP 31b), which indicates the end of the measurement of speed by municipal police. '
6. In Article 14 (1) (d), the words "if it is in the label 'are replaced by the words" if it is in the sign'.
7. In Paragraph 14, the dot is replaced by a comma at the end of paragraph 1 and the following points (w), (x) and (y) are added:
"(w)" Road Chapel "(No IJ 16),
(x) "Truckpark" (No. IJ 17a) which informs on the motorway and road for motor vehicles of the nearest intersection in the vicinity of which there is a complex service facility for freight vehicles;
(y) "Truckpark" (No IJ 17b), which informs of the distance to the complex service facility for freight vehicles. ';
8. in Article 15 (1), the following point (n) is inserted after point (m):
"(n)" Cycling in the opposite direction "(No E 12), which, if placed under the traffic sign No IP 4a or No IP 4b, informs the driver that in the opposite direction cycling is permitted in a separate lane,"
Point (n) shall be renumbered (o).
9. in Article 15 (1) (o), "E 12" is replaced by "E 13."
10. in section 16 the title reads: "Location, design and validity of horizontal road signs."
11. In Article 16, the following paragraph 3 is inserted after paragraph 2:
"(3) The temporary non-validity of the horizontal road signs shall be marked by crossing out yellow continuous lines. ';
Paragraph 3 shall become paragraph 4.
12. in Article 26 (1) (d):
"(d)" Ranging board "(No Z 4a to No Z 4e); Ranging plates No Z 4a, No Z 4b and No Z 4c guide traffic in the direction of inclination of inclined lanes; the routing plates No Z 4d and No Z 4e guide traffic in the direction of the arrow; in justified cases, the white may be replaced by a retroreflective yellow-green fluorescent colour, ';
13. in Article 26 (1) (m):
"(m)" Direction bar "(No Z 11a to No Z 11g); Direction columns No Z 11a, Z 11c and Z 11e are used to the left in the direction of travel, direction columns No Z 11b, Z 11d and Z 11f are used to the right in the direction of travel; the direction columns in red may be used at the point of connection of the special purpose road, with direction columns No Z 11c and No Z 11d being replaced by direction columns No Z 11g with circular cross-section; on bridges and sections with increased ice hazard, the direction columns of blue color can also be used."
14. in Paragraph 29 (1), the words "a member of the Police of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as" a policeman "), a member of the Military Police (hereinafter referred to as" a military officer ") or a member of a military order service" shall be replaced by the words "a policeman."
15. in Paragraph 29 (2), the words "military police officer and military officer" shall be deleted;
16. In Annex 2, in the name of the brand OD 2, the word "authorised 'is replaced by the word" authorised'.
17. In Annex 3, point 1, the figure and the name of the symbol "A 33 Movable bridge 'are added.

18. In Annex 3, point 5 (a), the images and the names of the marks "IP 31a Speed measurement 'and" IP 31b End of speed measurement' are added.

19. In Annex 3, point 5 (b), the representation of the marks "IS 12c Municipality in the language of the national minority 'and" IS 12d End of the municipality in the language of the national minority' is amended.

Transitional provision
The transport marks "Municipality in the language of the national minority '(No IS 12c) and" End of the village in the language of the national minority' (No IS 12d) in implementation according to existing legislation may be used for a maximum period of six months from the date of entry into force of this decree.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on the 15th day following its publication.
