Characteristics of tariff levels
The tariff levels are defined by the characteristics set out in the Annex to this Regulation according to the degree of complexity, responsibility and workload.
Amount of wage advantage for work in a difficult and healthy working environment
(1) The wage advantage for working in a difficult and healthy working environment is at least 2.50 CZK per hour of work in that environment.
(2) The wage advantage for working in a difficult and healthy working environment is due to chemical pollutants, dust (aerosols without toxic effects), vibrations, ionising radiation, electromagnetic radiation, infrared radiation (heat), lasers, work in an infectious working environment at risk of professional illness, direct contact with allergens, chemical carcinogens and increased air pressure. The difficult and healthy harmful working environment is laid down in specific provisions.
Wage advantage for working at night
The wage advantage per hour of work in the night (2) shall be at least 2.50 CZK, provided that work at night takes at least 2 hours.

TARIFF ADJUSTMENTS
1st tariff level
Performance of auxiliary work according to precise procedures and instructions with normal physical and small sensory load and without links to other activities (e.g. handling of individual objects of less weight and size).
2nd tariff level
The performance of preparatory or auxiliary work with minor linkages to other activities of the process or of the whole, generally with little material responsibility and normal sensory load, possibly increased physical effort or risk of accidents at work (e.g. simple operations or a set of operations with individual parts of machinery, equipment or objects, gauges and mechanised tools). Performance of simple regularly repeated administrative, administrative technical or operational handling work.
Grade 3
the performance of comprehensive routine service work according to the procedures and operating arrangements associated with some material responsibility, sensory burden, risk of accidents at work or high physical effort and with certain other operational connections; the performance of repeated controllable administrative, economic, economic or operational technical work according to detailed instructions or procedures.
Grade 4
The performance of routine expert controllable work with other possible close links to other processes, carried out according to the Framework Guidelines and associated as a general rule with higher material responsibility, increased sensory burden and responsibility for the health and safety of others (for example, working with single-purpose conventional equipment working with mutual technological or operational links). Performance of professional administrative or partially repeated diverse economic, economic or operational technical work. Management and organisation of individual easy-to-use technological, operational and other processes and equipment according to precise procedures with increased demands for accuracy and reliability, increased responsibility for the safe work and health and safety of others, increased sensory burden and material responsibility. The performance of simple individual craft work.
Level 5
The performance of routine diverse professional work with possible high material responsibility, responsibility for the health and safety of others or sensory burden, with fixed precise and numerous links to other processes and events. Management, organisation or operational provision of the operation of sub-sections of operational processes or complex equipment with little choice of procedure, usually associated with high sensory burden and responsibility for the health and lives of others. Separate performance of individual craft work.
6th tariff level
The performance of comprehensive professional work or the provision of less complex agendas, which are an important part of wider processes and phenomena, according to general procedures associated with any very high material responsibility or responsibility for difficult to eliminate damage of a larger scale and high sensory (neuropsychological) burden. Management, organisation or operational provision of the operation of very complex equipment and simple processes with the possibility of choice of procedure, associated with considerable neuropsychological burden, responsibility for health and the lives of a wider range of others. The performance of individual craft work with a significant share of creative innovation or individual craft highly professional work.
Grade 7
The performance of complex professional work or the independent provision of professional agendas or the exercise of simple sub-conceptual methodological work with high responsibility for very difficult to eliminate extensive damage, with considerable interdependence of complicated links to other processes and with high neuropsychological burden and extensive choice of procedure within the whole section or field of activity. Management, organisation or operational provision of the operation of complex equipment and operating processes according to general procedures, generally associated with some mental exertion, a very high neuropsychological burden, resulting from high levels of ongoing phenomena, stress situations and the like with responsibility for damage caused by the activity of the controlled section. Performance of individual creative craftsmanship.
Grade 8
The performance of specialised professional work, the independent provision of complex tasks and agendas, or the performance of conceptual, methodological and sub-creative activities, which are essential components of independent sub-systems, with certain links and connections beyond the scope of the field, associated with increased mental effort. The management, organisation and coordination of complex processes or an extensive set of very complex equipment, linked to the identification of new processes within the system, with responsibility for the extensive difficult-to-remove damage caused by the activity of the controlled section or the general threat to health and life.
Grade 9
The performance of system work related to complex security of complex sections and agendas, complex conceptual and methodological work and creative activities, usually associated with responsibility for unremovable damage, with high mental effort resulting from the need for work at a significant degree of generalisation, with wide links beyond the field of activity, usually carried out in a non-specified way. Management, organisation and coordination of very complex processes and systems, including the selection and optimisation of procedures and solutions, usually linked to very difficult conditions on a versatile basis.
Grade 10
The performance of the most complex specialised conceptual system and demanding creative work with extensive complex links between different fields of activity, or science disciplines, carried out in an unspecified way with unspecified outputs with a high degree of probability of irremovable damage, a general threat to life and health, with the requirement of a high degree of generalisation. Management and coordination of carrier parts of complex systems complex with extensive internal and external links.
11th tariff level
Creative solutions to tasks in an unusual (original) way, with generally defined outputs with a high level of liability for damage with the broadest social consequences, associated with a very high mental effort resulting from the need for a consistently high degree of generalisation of phenomena, a significant number of options solutions, with demands for extraordinary abilities, particularly creative, communication, moral and so on. The management and coordination of complex complex systems, with responsibility for damage elimination for the efforts of the widest collective of specialised experts over a longer period or for irremovable damage, with considerable demands on the ability to deal with, in the most difficult conditions complex and conflict situations associated generally with the general threat to the widest group of persons.
Tier 12
Creative solutions to the most complex tasks in a fundamentally new way, with unspecified outputs, wide social or international reach, with deep interdisciplinary links, which significantly influence the further development of relevant social systems, or scientific disciplines, with the assumption of a high degree of abstract thinking. Management, organisation and coordination of the most complex systems with a very high number of possible solutions, with responsibility for irremovable material and moral damage that can arise from activities directly managed and downstream systems.
