on the Treaty between the Czechoslovak Republic and the People's Republic of Poland on the definitive establishment of national borders
On 13 June 1958, the Treaty between the Czechoslovak Republic and the People's Republic of Poland on the final establishment of state borders was negotiated in Warsaw.
The National Assembly gave its consent to the Treaty by the Constitutional Law of 17 October 1958 No. 62 Coll. and was ratified by the President of the Republic on 20 October 1958. The instruments of ratification were exchanged in Prague on 14 February 1959.
Pursuant to Article 4 of the Treaty, the Treaty entered into force on 14 February 1959.

TREATY
BETWEEN THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND THE POLAND REPUBLIC FOR THE DEFINITIVE EXTENSION OF STATE BORDERS
The President of the Czechoslovak Republic and the State Council of the People's Republic of Poland, led by the wish that the state borders between the Czechoslovak Republic and the People's Republic of Poland join the brotherhood of the two states in peaceful and friendly cooperation, have decided to conclude a Treaty on the definitive establishment of state borders and to that end appoint their agents, namely:
President of the Czechoslovak Republic -
Václav DAVID, Minister for Foreign Affairs,
State Council of the People's Republic of Poland -
Adam RAPACKY, Minister of Foreign Affairs,
who, having exchanged their powers of attorney and found them in good and proper form, agreed on the following provisions:
(1) The current national borders between the Czechoslovak Republic and the Polish People's Republic have finally been drawn up by the Czechoslovak-Polish Joint Commission on State Borders established under the Protocol between the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Government of the Polish People's Republic on the establishment of the Czechoslovak-Polish State Borders signed in Prague on 23 September 1955.
(2) The course of the border line is indicated in the documents setting out the national borders which form an integral part of this Treaty.
The documents on the establishment of national borders are:
(1) a description of the progress of the 1: 5000 scale drawing border line and the table of figures;
2. Map of Czechoslovak-Polish state borders;
3. Final Protocol on the activities of the Czechoslovak-Polish Joint Commission on the establishment of state borders.
The national borders also define the area above and below the ground in a vertical direction.
This Treaty will be ratified and will enter into force on the date of the exchange of instruments of ratification, which will be implemented in Prague.
This Treaty was drawn up in Warsaw on 13 June 1958 in duplicate, each in the Czech and Polish languages, the two texts being equally authentic.
To prove it, the agents signed this treaty and sealed it.
