GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 3 March 1993
on the introduction of summer time in 1993 and 1994
The government orders pursuant to § 1 of Act No. 54 / 1946 Coll., on Summer Time, and to implement the Labour Code:
§ 1
The beginning and end of summer time in 1993 and 1994
(1) Summer time is introduced in 1993 on 28 March and in 1994 on 27 March. These days, at the second hour of Central European time, the clock will shift to the third hour of summer time.
(2) Summer time ends in 1993 on 26 September and in 1994 on 25 September. In these days, the third hour of summer time will shift the clock to the second hour of Central European time.
§ 2
Impact of summer time on fixed weekly working hours
(1) The fixed weekly working hours for workers whose beginning of summer time in 1993 and 1994 will be one hour shorter in their working shift if this working shift is reduced as a result of the introduction of summer time.
(2) The fixed weekly working hours for workers whose end of summer time between 1993 and 1994 will be one hour longer in their working shift if such shift is extended as a result of the end of summer time.
§ 3
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
