GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 26 March 2025
amending Government Regulation No 35 / 2017 Coll., establishing a one-off fee for the storage of radioactive waste and the amount of contributions from the nuclear account to municipalities and the rules on their provision, as amended by Government Regulation No 342 / 2024 Coll.
The Government mandates pursuant to § 122 (1) and § 131 (2) of Act No. 263 / 2016 Coll., Atomic Act, as amended by Act No. 83 / 2025 Coll.:
Government Regulation No. 35 / 2017 Coll., establishing a one-off fee for the storage of radioactive waste and the amount of contributions from and the provision of nuclear accounts to municipalities, as amended by Government Regulation No. 342 / 2024 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In the title of the Government Decree, the words "one-off fee rate 'are replaced by the words" charge rates'.
2. In Paragraph 1 (2), "CZK 200,000 'is replaced by" CZK 250,000'.
3. After Paragraph 1, the following Section 1a is inserted:
Regular fee rate
The rate of the regular fee for the storage of radioactive waste for the period 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2030 shall be:
a) CZK 88 for the quantity of electricity produced in MWh measured at generator terminals by the taxpayer operating an energy nuclear device,
b) CZK 35 for the quantity of heat produced in MWh by a taxpayer operating a research nuclear installation or a nuclear installation whose main purpose is the production of heat energy. "
Efficacy
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 January 2026.
