THE LAW
of 29 April 1999
amending Act No. 72 / 1994 Coll., adjusting certain co-ownership relations with buildings and certain ownership relations with apartments and non-residential premises and supplementing certain laws (Housing Act), as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 72 / 1994 Coll., which regulates certain joint ownership relations with buildings and certain ownership relations with flats and non-residential premises and complements certain laws (the Law on Housing), as amended by Act No. 273 / 1994 Coll. and the Constitutional Court found No. 280 / 1996 Coll., are amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 24 (10) reads as follows:
"(10) The settlement share of the acquirer of the unit to which the unit was transferred pursuant to paragraphs 1 to 5 and the membership of the cooperative has ceased shall be determined in accordance with Section 233 of the Commercial Code. '
2. Paragraph 25 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) In the absence of an agreement pursuant to paragraph 1, the cooperative shall be obliged to pay the buyers of the units settlement shares in the money under Section 233 of the Commercial Code. '
3. Paragraph 25 (3) is deleted.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
