GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 2 April 2025
on the use of the Army of the Czech Republic for rescue work in connection with the protection of the Czech Republic against the risk of introduction of dangerous foot-and-mouth disease
The Government orders pursuant to § 14 (3), § 15 and § 16 (3) of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the armed forces of the Czech Republic, as amended:
§ 1
In the period up to 31 May 2025, a maximum of 20 soldiers in active service are called for rescue operations to prevent the introduction of foot-and-mouth disease in the Czech Republic.
§ 2
The Minister of Defence shall designate soldiers in active service, including military equipment and equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1.
§ 3
This Government Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication.
