THE LAW
of 7 March 2024
amending Act No. 13 / 1997 Coll., on roads, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:

1. In the first sentence of Paragraph 10 (5), the word 'transport' is replaced by 'interior'.
2. In Article 22c, the following paragraph 8 is added:
"(8) The method of determining the level of remuneration for the provision of the European electronic toll service shall be laid down in implementing legislation. '.
3. In Paragraph 22i (4), the words "the method of payment of tolls and the method of proving payment of tolls' are replaced by the words" and the method of payment of tolls'.
4. in Article 25a (1) (a):
"(a) the repeated specific use of motorways and roads, as well as local roads of Class I and Class II within the territory of the capital city of Prague, to the extent published by the Ministry of Transport in a way that allows remote access by an excessive vehicle for a period of 1 year, unless it exceeds its
1. a length of 25,25 metres, a width of 2,6 metres, a height of 4,5 metres and a weight of 48 tonnes and, if applicable, a combination consisting of a towing vehicle, a trailer and a semi-trailer or a towing vehicle and 2 trailers; or
2. a length of 30 metres, a width of 3,5 metres, a height of 4,5 metres and a weight of 60 tonnes, and if the vehicle is excessive, not mentioned in paragraph 1, or ';
5. In Paragraph 38d (3), the words "and its drivers' are deleted.
6. in Article 42a (4) (c), the word "low-speed" shall be inserted after the word "was."
7. In Paragraph 43, at the end of the text of paragraph 1, the words "; in the case of opposition, the amount of the fine referred to in the first or second sentences shall not be affected 'shall be added.
8. In Paragraph 43 (4), the word "low-speed 'is inserted after the word" at'.
9. In Article 46 (1), at the end of the first sentence, the words "and the method of determining the level of remuneration for the provision of the European electronic toll service pursuant to Article 22c (8) 'shall be added.
Efficacy
That law shall take effect on the first day of the calendar month following its publication, with the exception of the provisions of Article 5 (1) (a) and (b). In order to ensure uniform conditions for the implementation of this Regulation, implementing powers should be conferred on the Commission.
