ORDER
GOVERNMENTS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
of 13 March 2020
on the adoption of crisis measures
Following the Government Resolution 194 of 12 March 2020, the Government, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Constitutional Act No. 110 / 1998 Coll., on the Security of the Czech Republic, declared emergency in accordance with Article 5 and Article 5 (a) to (e) and § 6 of the Act No. 240 / 2000 Coll., on emergency management and on the amendment of certain laws (Crisis Act), as amended, for the resolution of the crisis situation, the adoption of emergency measures, by virtue of Article 6 (1) (b) of the Crisis Act.
Government
I. prohibits security detention in detention prisons, prisons and institutes for the duration of emergency measures with effect from 14 March 2020 from 00: 00 hours of visit
1. Charges carried out pursuant to Article 14 of Act No. 293 / 1993 Coll., on the Enforcement of Bonds, as amended. The prohibition shall not apply to visits made pursuant to § 14 (9) and (10) and § 28 (2) of this Law,
2. convicted pursuant to § 19 of Act No. 169 / 1999 Coll., on the execution of a custodial sentence and amending certain related laws, as amended,
3. inmates carried out pursuant to § 10 of Act No. 129 / 2008 Coll., on the performance of security detention and on the amendment of certain related laws, as amended. The prohibition shall not apply to persons referred to in Paragraph 10 (2) of this Law;
II. Provides that an exemption from this exceptional measure may be granted to the Minister for Justice.
