DECLARATION

amending Decree No. 340 / 1992 Coll., on the requirements for qualification and competence and on the verification of the professional competence of workers for mining and mining activities and amending certain regulations issued by the Czech Mining Office to ensure safety and health at work and safety of operations in mining and mining activities, as amended by Decree No. 239 / 1998 Coll.
The Czech Mining Authority provides pursuant to § 5 (3) of Act No. 61 / 1988 Coll., on Mining Activities, Explosives and on State Mining Administration, as amended by Act No. 542 / 1991 Coll.:
Decree No. 340 / 1992 Coll., on the requirements for qualification and competence and on the verification of the professional competence of workers for mining and mining activities and amending certain regulations issued by the Czech Mining Authority to ensure safety and health at work and safety of operations in mining and mining activities, as amended by Decree No. 239 / 1998 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 1 (5), the words "or higher vocational education of the relevant direction and practice in the relevant field 'shall be inserted after the words" one year'.
2. In Article 1 (6) and (7), the words "or higher vocational education of the relevant direction and practice in the relevant field, 'shall be inserted after the words" two years';
3. In Paragraph 1 (8), the words "or higher vocational education of the relevant direction and practice in the relevant field shall be inserted after the words" one year '.
4. In Article 1 (10), the words "or higher vocational education of the relevant direction and practice in the relevant field, 'shall be inserted after the words" one year'.
5. in Article 3 (1), point (f) is deleted;
6. Paragraph 4 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) Save as otherwise provided in the Special Regulation (7), it shall verify the competence of the racetrack and quarry with annual production of the commercial mineral of more than 500,000 tonnes by examination of a committee appointed by the President of the Czech Mining Office; the test is written and oral. ';
7. In Article 5 (2), "10 years' is replaced by" 5 years';
8. Paragraph 5 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) The validity of the certificate may also be renewed repeatedly, but for a maximum period of five years, provided that the applicant has requested the extension and has demonstrated that he has carried out the relevant activity during the last five years. ';
9. In Article 7 (1), the words "except for an expert expert," shall be inserted after the words "Every worker."
This Decree shall take effect on 1 March 2001.
