Regulation on the rules of navigation safety for the Czechoslovak section of the Danube

Order of the Minister for Transport
of 8 August 1953
on the order of navigation safety for the Czechoslovak section of the Danube.
In agreement with the participating ministers pursuant to § 2 (2) of Act No. 152 / 1950 Coll., the Minister of Transport hereby mandates that:
§ 1.
(1) In order to maintain the safety of the operation of the cruise and to maintain order on the river on the Czechoslovak Danube section, the rules of navigation safety shall be issued within the meaning of Article 23 of the Convention on the sailing regime in the Danube.
(2) The Code of Navigation Security for the Czechoslovak section of the Danube is divided into two parts:
(a) for the part containing the "Basic Regulations on the cruise to the Danube" (hereinafter referred to as "ZP") annexed to the Regulation;
(b) to the part containing "Additional rules for navigation on the Czechoslovak section of the Danube" (in short "DP"), which forms Annex 2 to the Regulation.
(3) The Order of Navigation Security for the Czechoslovak section of the Danube is part of this Regulation and is announced in the Annex to the Collection of Laws. *)
§ 2.
(1) The order of sailing safety for the Czechoslovak section of the Danube is valid on the section from the mouth of the river Moravia (Ipľu) to the mouth of the river Ipľu (Ipľu).
(2) The provisions of these Regulations shall also apply in ports and transhipments adjacent to the Danube in the Czechoslovak section of the Danube and on connections thereto, unless the specific regulations on the use of ports and transports provide otherwise.
(3) The provisions of these Regulations shall apply to vessels of all kinds without distinction of flag which sail or stand on the Czechoslovak section of the Danube, as well as to persons who use them on that section for navigation or are entrusted with the supervision of them.
§ 3.
The Ministry of Transport will issue the regulations necessary to implement the rules of navigation safety for the Czechoslovak section of the Danube.
§ 4.
Provisions contrary to this Regulation shall be repealed.
§ 5.
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 September 1953.

Basic regulations on sailing on the Danube

General provisions

Scope
