On 14 July 1967, the Stockholm Convention Additional wording to the Madrid Agreement on the suppression of false or misleading origin data of 14 April 1891.
The President of the Republic of Stockholm's Additional Amendment of 14 July 1967 to the Madrid Agreement on the suppression of false or misleading data on origin of goods of 14 April 1891 ratified and the Act on access to CSSR was deposited with the Director-General of the World Intellectual Property Organisation on 22 September 1970.
The Stockholm Additional Text entered into force on the basis of Article 5 thereof, 1 April 1970. For the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, it entered into force on 29 December 1970.
The Czech translation of the Stockholm Additional Text is being published simultaneously.

STOCKHOLM ADDITIONAL TEXT
COUNCIL DECISION of 14 July 1967 on the Madrid Agreement on the suppression of false or misleading data on the origin of goods of 14 April 1891, as revised in Washington on 2 June 1911, in The Hague on 6 November 1925, in London on 2 June 1934, in Lisbon on 31 October 1958 (67 / 474 / EEC)
The Charter on access to the Madrid Agreement on the suppression of false or misleading data on origin of goods of 14 April 1891 (hereinafter referred to as the "Madrid Agreement '), as revised in Washington on 2 June 1911, in The Hague on 6 November 1925, in London on 2 June 1934 and in Lisbon on 31 October 1958 (hereinafter referred to as" the Lisbon text'), shall be deposited with the Director-General of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (hereinafter referred to as the Director-General), which shall notify their deposit to the Member States of the Agreement.
References in Articles 5 and 6, 2) of the Lisbon text to Articles 16, 16 bis and 17 bis of the General Convention shall be construed as references to those provisions of the Stockholm version of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property which comply with those Articles.
1. Any Member State of the Madrid Agreement may sign this Additional Text and any country which has ratified or acceded to the Lisbon text may ratify or accede to this Additional Text.
2. The instruments of ratification or accession shall be deposited with the Director-General.
Any country which has not yet ratified or acceded to the Lisbon text shall also be bound by Articles 1 and 2 of this Additional text from the date on which its accession to the Lisbon text enters into force, subject to the condition that, if it does not enter into force on that date, it shall only be bound by Article 1 and 2 of this Additional text from its entry into force.
1. This Additional Text shall enter into force on the date of entry into force of the Stockholm Convention of 14 July 1967 establishing the World Intellectual Property Organisation, subject to the condition that, unless at least two ratifications of this Additional Text or two accessions to it are deposited by that date, this Additional Text shall enter into force on the date on which two ratifications of this Additional Text or two accesses to it are deposited.
2. For each country which imposes the instrument of ratification or accession after the date on which this additional text enters into force in accordance with the preceding paragraph, this additional text shall enter into force three months after the date on which the Director-General notified its ratification or accession.
1. This additional text shall be signed in a single copy in French and deposited with the Swedish Government.
2. This additional text shall remain open for signature in Stockholm until the date on which the signed text enters into force pursuant to Article 5 (1).
3. The Director-General shall transmit two copies of this additional text, certified by the Swedish Government and signed, to the governments of all the Member States of the Madrid Agreement and at the request of any other country.
4. The Director-General shall register this additional text with the United Nations Secretariat.
5. The Director-General shall notify the governments of all Member States of the Madrid Agreement of the signatures, deposit of instruments of ratification or accession, entry into force and other communications requested.
1. Until the first Director-General takes office, references to the Director-General shall be understood as references to the Director-General of the United International Intellectual Property Protection Offices.
