ORDER
GOVERNMENTS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
of 14 February 2021
on the adoption of crisis measures
Following the Government Resolution No. 125 of 14 February 2021 by which the Government, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Constitutional Act No. 110 / 1998 Coll., on the Security of the Czech Republic, declared emergency status in accordance with Article 5 and Article 5 (a) to (e) and § 6 of the Act No. 240 / 2000 Coll., on emergency management and on the amendment of certain laws (Crisis Act), as amended, for the resolution of the crisis situation, the adoption of emergency measures, by virtue of Article 6 (1) (b) of the Crisis Act.
Government with effect from 15 February 2021 from 00: 00 to 28 February 2021 to 23: 59
I. prohibits visits in detention prisons, prisons and institutions for the performance of security detention:
- the defendants carried out pursuant to Article 14 of Act No. 293 / 1993 Coll., on the exercise of custody, as amended; the prohibition does not apply to visits made pursuant to § 14 (9) and (10) and § 28 (2) of this Act,
- convicted pursuant to Article 19 of Act No. 169 / 1999 Coll., on the execution of a custodial sentence and amending certain related acts, as amended,
- inmates carried out pursuant to Section 10 of Act No. 129 / 2008 Coll., on the performance of security detention and on the amendment of certain related laws, as amended; the prohibition does not apply to persons referred to in Paragraph 10 (2) of this Law;
II. Provides that an exemption from this exceptional measure may be granted to the Minister for Justice.
