DECLARATION
of 25 February 2009
amending Decree No. 537 / 2006 Coll., on vaccination against infectious diseases
According to § 108 (1) of Act No. 258 / 2000 Coll., on the Protection of Public Health and on the Amendment of Certain Related Acts, as amended by Act No. 392 / 2005 Coll. and Act No. 222 / 2006 Coll., for the implementation of § 45 (2), § 46 (1), (2), (6) and § 47 (3) of the Act:
Decree No 537 / 2006 Coll., on vaccination against infectious diseases, is amended as follows:
1. In Article 2 (2), the words "(3) to (5) 'are deleted.
2. Article 3, including the title, reads:
Regular tuberculosis vaccination
(1) Vaccination against tuberculosis shall be carried out no earlier than the fourth day and no later than the end of the sixth week following the birth of the child.
(2) Where vaccination cannot be carried out in accordance with paragraph 1, it shall be carried out after the completion of the primary vaccination carried out in the framework of the periodic vaccination of children; This does not apply if the newborn is part of a dispensary group of contacts with active tuberculosis, which are vaccinated against tuberculosis preferably before other vaccines. Only children with negative tuberculin test are vaccinated. "
3. Paragraph 4 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) Re-vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis, together with the administration of the fifth dose of inactivated polio vaccine, shall be carried out from the tenth to the 11th year of age. The application of five doses of vaccine shall be considered a complete vaccination against portable polio. '
4. In Article 4, the following paragraph 4 is inserted after paragraph 3:
"(4) For persons vaccinated pursuant to Article 4 (3), re-vaccination against tetanus shall be carried out from the age of 25 to the age of 25. '
Paragraphs 4 to 9 shall be renumbered paragraphs 5 to 10.
5. Paragraph 4 (5) reads as follows:
"(5) Revaccination against tetanus shall be carried out in children vaccinated against tetanus in accordance with the existing legislation from the 14th to the 15th year of age of the child. ';
6. In Paragraph 13 (1), the last sentence is deleted.
7. Paragraph 15 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) For persons vaccinated under Paragraph 13 (1), where recommended by the Tetanus Summary of Data for the Vaccine, hyperimunic antitetanic globulin shall also be administered. ';
8. In Article 15 (3), "Article 4 (7) 'is replaced by" Article 4 (8)';
9. in Annex No 1, the following point 9 is added:
"9. Children under 1500 g. '
10. Annex No 2 is deleted.
Transitional provisions
1. In 2009, re-vaccination shall be carried out against a portable polio inactivated vaccine, given as the fifth dose of vaccine against portable polio to children who have completed their 13th year of age and have not yet received the fifth dose of vaccine against portable polio.
2. In 2010, re-vaccination shall be carried out against a portable polio inactivated vaccine, given as the fifth dose of vaccine against portable polio to children older than 11 years of age, who have not yet received the fifth dose of vaccine against portable polio.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
