GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 6 March 2024
on certain details of the provision of accommodation and related services to persons granted temporary protection
The Government hereby orders pursuant to § 6b (1) and § 6e (2) of Act No. 65 / 2022 Coll., on certain measures relating to armed conflict in Ukraine caused by the invasion of Russian troops, as amended by Act No. 198 / 2022 Coll. and Act No. 75 / 2023 Coll.:
Services related to the provision of accommodation
(1) When providing accommodation, the operator shall ensure the possibility of eating or preparing meals for the persons staying.
(2) In the case of accommodation in facilities operated by the State's organisational body established by the Ministry of the Interior and entrusted with the tasks provided for in Section 92c of the Asylum Act, accommodation and basic means of personal hygiene may be provided to residents.
Accommodation capacity distribution
The distribution of the necessary accommodation capacity in the Czech Republic according to the regions is set out in the Annex to this Regulation.
Amount of flat-rate refund
The flat-rate reimbursement for accommodation per person staying for 1 night shall be:
(a) 300 CZK for accommodation in an establishment whose operator is a local self-governing entity or a legal entity established by it or established by it, or for accommodation in special purpose accommodation facilities pursuant to § 22 (1) (d) of the Higher Education Act, or
b) 350 CZK for accommodation in cases not mentioned in (a).
Efficacy
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 April 2024.
