GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 11 April 2018
repealing certain regulations of the Government in the field of technical requirements for products
The Government orders pursuant to Section 22 of Act No. 22 / 1997 Coll., on Technical Requirements for Products and on the Amendment and Addition of Certain Acts, as amended by Act No. 205 / 2002 Coll. and Act No. 34 / 2011 Coll.:
Repeal
They shall be deleted:
1. Government Decree No. 21 / 2003 Coll., laying down technical requirements for personal protective equipment.
2. Government Decree No. 22 / 2003 Coll., laying down technical requirements for gas appliances.
3. Government Decree No. 70 / 2002 Coll., on Technical Requirements for Equipment for the Transport of Persons.
4. Government Decree No. 365 / 2005 Coll., on the emission of pollutants in exhaust gases of positive ignition engines of certain non-road mobile machines.
Transitional provisions
1. Personal protective equipment which complies with Government Regulation No. 21 / 2003 Coll., may continue to be made available on the market if it was placed on the market by 20 April 2019.
2. Notified persons who have been entrusted with activities in conformity assessment of personal protective equipment provided for in Government Regulation No 21 / 2003 Coll., may continue to operate until 20 April 2019.
3. Valid EC type-examination certificates and other documents issued by notified persons under Government Regulation No. 21 / 2003 Coll. shall remain valid for a period of 5 years from the date of entry into force of this Regulation, unless they provide for shorter validity.
4. Gas Consumers which are in conformity with Government Regulation No. 22 / 2003 Coll., may continue to be made available on the market or put into service if they were placed on the market before the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
5. Sub-systems or security features which are in conformity with Government Regulation No. 70 / 2002 Coll., may continue to be made available on the market if they were placed on the market before the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
6. Equipment for the transport of persons which has been installed in accordance with Government Decree No. 70 / 2002 Coll., may be put into service even after the entry into force of this Regulation.
7. For security features, certificates and other documents issued by authorised persons under Government Decree No. 70 / 2002 Coll.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall take effect on 21 April 2018.
