DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 2 February 1993
implementing Act No. 60 / 1993 Coll.
The Czech National Bank provides, pursuant to § 13 (2) of Act No. 60 / 1993 Coll., on the separation of the currency, hereinafter referred to as "the Act":
In order to separate the currency, banknotes 1000 CZK of model 1985,1) 500 CZK of model 19732) and 100 CZK of model 1961.3)
(1) The stamp on the banknote 1000 CZK has dimensions of 25 × 21 mm and its pattern consists of a horizontally shrafted number "1000" in the middle of the area shrafted by vertical lines. In the corners of the wheel are the letters "M."
(2) The stamp on the bill of 500 CZK has dimensions of 25 × 21 mm and its pattern consists of a horizontally shrafted number "500" in the middle of the area with vertical lines. There are letters "D."
(3) The stamp on the bill 100 CZK has dimensions of 25 × 21 mm and its pattern consists of a horizontally shrafted number "100" in the middle of the area with vertical lines. There are letters "C."
(4) The numbers, letters and lines of horizontal and vertical shrafting are printed in a deep, dark green colour.
(1) The stamp may either be affixed to the banknote in the upper left corner of the banknote's face side or be printed directly on the banknote, also in the upper left corner of the banknote's face.
(2) The paper of the beads glued to the banknotes is printed with oblique underprint lines, in orange colour on the rings of 1000 CZK, in grey colour on the rings of 500 CZK and in red colour on the rings of 100 CZK.
(3) Both forms of cascading are equally valid.
(1) The certificate of surrender, loss or theft of the identity card or residence permit issued on the prescribed form by the authorities issuing the identity card or residence permit shall be deemed to replace the identity card or residence permit provided for in Article 2 (1) of the Act.
(2) Any of the parents of a child who has them on his or her personal card or residence permit (hereinafter referred to as "personal cards') may exchange banknotes for persons under 15 years of age (hereinafter referred to as" children '). If a parent does not have a child on his or her personal card, or if he or she presents a replacement document at the time of exchange, he or she shall also present a birth certificate for consultation at the exchange of banknotes.
(3) Where a legal representative other than one of the parents of the child carries out the exchange of banknotes for the child, he shall, in addition to his / her personal card or his / her replacement document, provide a document showing his / her legal representative status.
(4) Where the exchange of banknotes is carried out by an authorised person over 18 years of age for other authorised persons (Section 2 (5) of the Act), the exchange point does not examine the relationship of the person making the exchange to the person for whom the exchange is made.
(5) The exchange record shall be carried out by means of an implementation or company stamp and endorsed by the signature of the official who made the exchange.
(a) a personal card under the heading "Special records";
(b) on the back of the document which replaces the identity card.
(6) The exchange of banknotes pursuant to Article 2 (2), (4), (5) and (6) of the Act must be indicated in all the personal cards or documents submitted replacing them. The exchange of banknotes for children or for authorised persons deprived of legal capacity shall be indicated in the personal cards or documents replacing their legal representatives.
(1) The exchange of banknotes provided for in Article 2 (3) of the Act is carried out at the time laid down by the Government's banknote exchange regulation.
(2) The banknotes referred to in § 2 (3) of the Act may be deposited by authorised persons at the exchange point set up at the selected branch of České spořitelna, a. s. Cash withdrawal for a special confirmation is one-time. Special certificate is due no later than 31 July 1993 at the branch of Česká spořitelna, a. s., which issued it.
(3) In the case of an exchange point set up with selected Czech Post Organisational Units, the authorised persons may deposit the banknotes referred to in Section 2 (3) of the Act on deposit books, purchase deposit certificates for them, exchange them with the Czech National Bank (§ 9 of the Act) or deposit them with an otherwise offered exchange point, or send them to the selected place in the Czech Republic with a letter of type C (including dispatch to their own address). The method of exchange of banknotes shall be governed by the operational and technical possibilities of the exchange site.
The exchange of banknotes referred to in Article 2 (6) of the Act and its inclusion in the personal card or replacement document shall be carried out in a manner agreed with the exchange points by the district and municipal authorities and the heads of hospitals, treatment facilities, social care institutes, refugee camps, detention centres and other similar facilities under local conditions. The exchange points shall provide all necessary synergies in such exchanges.
In particular, the confirmation of a foreign State bank that it has sold the Czechoslovak currency or foreign exchange bank certificate (5) on the sale of the Czechoslovak currency under a payment agreement or other agreement shall be regarded as evidence of the legal acquisition of the Czechoslovak currency under Article 3 of the Act.
(1) The form of acknowledgement of receipt of banknotes under Section 4 (3) of the Act shall be deemed to be:
(a) the addition of the aggregate amount of banknotes submitted to an account opened at the bank;
(b) issuing a check by the bank for the amount received;
c) issue of the ticket receipt of the Czech National Bank (§ 9 of the Act).
(2) The way in which banknotes are accepted under Section 4 (3) of the Act is governed by the bank's operational and technical options.
(1) The exchange of banknotes pursuant to Section 7 of the Act is carried out by branches of the Czech National Bank, the list of which, specifying the address of their registered office, is annexed to this decree.
(2) The branches of the Czech National Bank which exchange banknotes referred to in paragraph 1 must be separately marked as exchange points.
(3) The exchange of banknotes pursuant to Article 7 of the Act is only carried out where the applicant for the exchange proves a serious reason for which he could not exchange the banknotes at the time specified for the exchange by the Government regulation. In particular, the fact that the applicant for the exchange was demonstrably present at the time of the specified exchange of banknotes for reasons of treatment, work, study or similar outside the place of his permanent or, where appropriate, temporary residence on which he had deposited the banknotes, and could not have arrived in time for the exchange of banknotes within the specified time. This fact may be demonstrated by an applicant for exchange, for example by confirming a hospital or other medical institution or similar establishment of residence in it, by confirming an employer or a school of residence outside its place of permanent or temporary residence, in particular abroad, by confirming the competent authorities on the exercise of a military basic, alternative or civil service, on the execution of a custodial sentence or detention, by confirming the authorities of a passport check of residence outside the Czech Republic. Should the provision of such a certificate be associated with disproportionate costs or other serious difficulties, it may be replaced by an affidavit of the applicant for exchange.
(4) Hospital, treatment facilities, social care institutes, refugee camps, institutions for the execution of a custodial sentence or similar facilities shall issue the attestations referred to in paragraph 3 to any authorised person residing there for the period laid down for the exchange of banknotes, even if they cannot apply for them for their physical or mental status or for other serious reasons.
(1) Ticket receipts issued by the Czech National Bank pursuant to § 9 of the Act are issued in 2000 Kčs and 5000 Kčs.
(2) Cashier receipts shall be printed on a special paper bearing a continuous watermark comprising the letters "VSP '. They are printed unilaterally, printed from the surface. The 2000 CZK ticket is printed in brown in several shades, 5000 CZK in blue in several shades.
(3) Cashier receipts are 128 mm long and 68 mm wide. They are framed by an unprinted margin of 4 mm wide. They consist of two parts separated by an unprinted vertical strip 3 mm wide. Both parts of the certificate are accompanied by a small raster underprint.
(4) The left part of the ticket receipt consists of a 25 mm wide coupon. At the upper edge of the coupon, it is placed in one row of the series designation, which consists of the inscription "SERIE" and one large letter of the alphabet. At the lower edge of the coupon, a seven-digit serial number of the ticket receipt is placed in one row. The serial number and serial number of the ticket receipt shall be printed from a height in black. In the middle part of the coupon, the nominal value of the ticket receipt is indicated on the ornamental decoration in the vertical direction from the bottom up.
(5) The right, the main part of the ticket receipt, is provided with a narrow horizontal decorative strip at both the upper and lower edges. At the upper edge, the strip is dark, with light ornamental decoration, at the lower edge the strip is bright, with dark ornamental decoration. Under the stripe at the top of the unprinted edge, the text "POTURZENKA NA 2000 Kčs (5000 Kčs)" is placed in three rows. Under this text, the nominal value of the cash receipt is verbally marked in one row in small letters. Information on the basis of which legislation the ticket receipt is issued is also printed in small letters under the word sign of the nominal value of the ticket receipt. Under this information it is placed in two rows of the text expressing the commitment of the Czech National Bank to pay this receipt to the sender of this receipt its nominal value in Czech crowns and below it is given in small letters of maturity of the ticket receipt by 31 July 1993. All of these texts are placed on the background of a geometric pattern in the underprint, reminiscent of the rising sun with rays. Under the curve of the stylized sun are outlines marked figures indicating the nominal value of the ticket receipt and underneath the light inscription "CZECH NATIONAL BANK." At the lower edge of the ticket receipt on the left, the place and date of issue of the receipt are indicated by the words "In PRÁZE 1 February 1993," on the right the inscription "GUVERNER OF THE CZECH NATIONAL BANK" and the signature of the Governor's signature factually above it. On the lower white edge of the ticket receipt in the middle below its main part is the title of the copyright holder "© VICTORIA SECURITY PRINTING, A. S. PRAHA."
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
