Government Regulation
of 31 January 1953
repealing and setting up certain bodies of state administration and regulating their responsibilities.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders, with the consent of the President of the Republic pursuant to § 1 of the Constitutional Act No. 47 / 1950 Coll., on adaptations in the organisation of public administration:
The Ministry of Fuel and Energy shall be established:
Ministry of Fuel; and
The Department of Energy.
The Ministry of State Goods is hereby established, which shall in particular carry out the tasks of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agriculture in the field of State Goods.
The Ministry of Construction is hereby established, which primarily performs the tasks of the Ministry of Construction in the field of construction materials.
The Ministry of Information and Information is hereby repealed.
(1) The Ministry of Education, Science and Arts and the Ministry of Education and Education and the Ministry of Higher Education are established.
(2) In the field of education, the Ministry of Education and Education performs the previous tasks of the Ministry of Education, Science and Arts, except in the field of higher education and in the field of education.
(3) The Ministry of Higher Education carries out the current tasks of the Ministry of Education, Science and Arts in the field of higher education and science.
(1) The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic sets up the State Committee on Arts as a central body of state administration in the field of art.
(2) The State Committee on Arts is composed of the President, its Deputy Members and other members. The President shall be appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic, on a proposal from the Government, the Deputy Presidents and the other members, by the Government.
(1) In Slovakia, the State Committee on Arts exercises its competence in principle through the Slovak Committee on Arts set up in the College of Authors.
(2) The President of the Slovak Committee on Arts is to be appointed and removed by the Government, the Deputy Presidents and the other members by the Board of Authors. The Chairman of the Slovak Committee on Arts is a member of the State Committee on Arts.
(1) A Committee on Cultural Relations with Foreign Affairs is hereby established as a central body in the field of Cultural Relations with Foreign Affairs.
(2) The Committee on Cultural Relations with Foreign Affairs consists of the President, its Deputy Members and other members. The President shall be appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic, on a proposal from the Government, the Deputy Presidents and the other members, by the Government.
The State Office for Church Affairs, established by Act No. 217 / 1949 Coll., establishing the State Office for Church Affairs, shall be chaired by the President appointed by the President of the Republic on a proposal from the Government.
(1) The Office of the Bureau of the Government shall establish the main administration of the printing and gramophone industry, publishing and book trading and the main administration of cinematography.
(2) The government shall appoint the directors of the two main administrations.
The detailed definition of the tasks of the various government bodies in relation to the transfer of competence carried out under this Regulation shall be carried out by the Government.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; All members of the government will do it.
