of 11 February 2009
amending Act No. 48 / 1997 Coll., on Public Health Insurance and amending and supplementing certain related laws, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment to the Public Health Insurance Act
Act No. 24 / 1999 Coll., Act No. 18 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 132 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 176 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 176 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 198 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 285 / 2002 Coll.
1. In Article 16a (1), at the end of point (d), comma is replaced by a dot and the sentence "Where an insured person pays a supplement for the issue of a medicinal product or a food for special medical purposes prescribed in the recipe, the sum of the supplements for all packages of a medicinal product or a food for special medical purposes of one type shall be reduced by the regulatory fee paid or part thereof, so that the amount paid by the insured person for the supplement and the regulatory fee is at least CZK 30."
2. in Article 16a (2), at the end of the text referred to in point (a), the words "or if there is an insured person placed on the grounds of a court decision in a child care facility requiring immediate assistance 27i) or an insured person entrusted by a court decision to foster care under the Family Act."

Footnotes 27i to 27k shall be renumbered as footnotes 27j to 27l, including the footnotes references.
3. In Article 16a, at the end of paragraph 2, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following point (f) is added:
"(f) if there is an insured person who is provided, under another legislation, 27m) with residence social services in homes for disabled persons, homes for elderly persons, homes with a special scheme or health care facilities, provided that, after payment for accommodation and meals, the insured person has a fixed balance of at least 15% of his income (27n) of less than 800 CZK or if he has no income; This fact is demonstrated by the insured person by a certificate of no more than 30 days old, which at his request is required to be issued by the social services provider. ';

4. In Article 16a, at the end of paragraph 3, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following point (f) is added:
"(f) children up to the age of 18, including that day."
5. In Paragraph 16a, the sentence "Medical equipment shall be required to apply the selected regulatory fees to cover the costs associated with the operation and modernisation of the medical establishment at the end of paragraph 5. '
6. In Article 16a (11), "paragraph 10 'is replaced by" paragraphs 9 and 10';
7. In the first sentence of Paragraph 16b (1), the words "for children under 18, including the calendar year in which they completed the 18th year of age, and for insured persons over 65, including the calendar year in which they completed the 65th year of age, of CZK 2,500," shall be inserted after the words "for children under 18."
8. In the fourth sentence of Article 16b (1), the words "partially paid medicinal products or food for special medical purposes, the payment of which is set under Article 17 is less than 30% of the maximum price.24) and" deleted, the dot is replaced by a semicolon at the end of the sentence and the words "this does not apply if the medicinal products and food for special medical purposes prescribed for the recipe to insured persons over 65 years of age, including the date on which they completed the 65th year of age."
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on 1 April 2009.
