DECLARATION
Ministry of Agriculture
of 29 March 1999
defining certain species of plants listed in the species list whose propagating material may be put into circulation as commercial material and establishing its characteristics and control methods
According to Article 32 (1) of Act No. 92 / 1996 Coll., on Varieties, Seeds and Propagating Plants, hereinafter referred to as "the Act", the Ministry of Agriculture provides:
The species of plants whose propagating material may be put into circulation as commercial before 30 May 1999 (hereinafter referred to as "the species') are common wheat, lucerne and flax.
Plant species propagating material shall not have a germination capacity lower than:
(a) 78% for common wheat,
(b) 70% for lucerne,
(c) 72% for flax.
Plant species propagating material shall:
(a) in the case of common wheat and lucerne, be made of crops with known origin of propagating material. In the case of flax, it shall be made of crops recognised in accordance with Article 22 (4) of the Act and bear the name of the variety,
(b) bear a mark from which it is apparent to the purchaser that the material is commercial propagating material under this decree.
Control of the characteristics of propagating material of plant species shall be carried out in the same way as control of the properties of other propagating material.1)
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
