DECLARATION
Ministry of Defence
of 22 February 1996
laying down the external marking and service pass of a military police officer and the colour and identification of means of transport by the Military Police
The Ministry of Defence provides pursuant to Section 36a of Act No. 124 / 1992 Coll., on Military Police, as amended by Act No. 39 / 1995 Coll.:
External identification of military officer
(1) The external designation of a military officer shall consist of:
(a) a sleeve character, the shape of which is determined by a shield identical to that of a large national character, the colour of the shield is blue, the lining of the ribbon is in the colour of the tricolor, the figure in the shield is replaced by the letters "VP" of white;
(b) the home, the colour of which is blue, is lined with a ribbon in the colour of a tricolor, with the white inscription "MILITARY POLICE,"
(c) the Military Police badge with an identification number, consisting of an oval of blue colour, has a white metal cross-sword and a number above it in the middle; the upper part is the inscription "MILITARY 'and the lower part is the inscription" POLICE'.
(2) The image of the sleeve character and the home address is in Annex 1 to this Order, the image of the badge of the Military Police is in Annex 2 to this Order.
Military officer's service pass
(1) The military police officer's certificate (hereinafter referred to as the "service pass") has a blue red background and a tricolor is located in the lower right corner.
(2) On the front is a service card with photos of a size of 3 x 3 cm and the title "MINISTERSTO PROTECTION OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC." In addition to the photograph is the text "SERVICE TRADE OF THE MILITARY POLICE." Under the photograph is the identification number and in the blue field the white sign "MILITARY POLICE."
(3) The back of the service card shall bear the name, surname, title, rank and blood group of the holder of the service card, the text of the authorisation and instruction, the date of issue of the service card and the signature of the Minister of Defence.
(4) The service pass is stored in a black leather two-piece case. The military police badge with the identification number is attached to the left half of the case.
(5) The image of the service card is in Annex 3 to this Order.
Colour design and identification of means of transport Military Police
(1) Military police passenger vehicles are white with side horizontal longitudinal stripes of green. The words "MILITARY POLICE" appear in black capitals on these stripes.
(2) The personal off-road vehicles of the Military Police, which are introduced in the Army of the Czech Republic, are dark (khaki) colours either with lateral horizontal longitudinal stripes of white colour on which the words "MILITARY POLICE" are marked in black capitals, or without these stripes, marked in white capitals "MILITARY POLICE" on side vehicles.
(3) On the bonnet of the engine, luggage compartment and on both front doors is shown the Military Police sign in yellow and black on white background. If it's allowed by a vehicle type, there's a sign that says "MILITARY POLICE" on the back hood except for the Military Police sign.
(4) Military police may also use vehicles in any colour version if necessary. Such vehicles shall be marked with the removable inscriptions "MILITARY POLICE 'and the removable characters" MILITARY POLICE' in the version referred to in paragraphs 1 to 3 when the vehicle driver uses a removable warning device supplemented by a special audible warning device (1).
(5) The depiction of the Military Police emblem is in Annex 4 to this Order and the colour rendering and marking of the Military Police vehicle is in Annex 5 to this Order.
(6) The provisions of the preceding paragraphs shall apply mutatis mutandis to the designation of other means of transport by the Military Police.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
