GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 21 February 2024
on the valuation awarded by the Ministry of Transport
The Government orders pursuant to § 49 (6) of Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and on the amendment of certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended by Act No. 26 / 2008 Coll.:
Subject matter
This Regulation regulates the valuation of the Ministry of Transport and the conditions for its award.
Valuation granted
(1) The Ministry of Transport may award the Ministry of Transport Medal as an award.
(2) The medal has a round shape with a diameter of 60 mm and is embossed from brass. On the front side of the medal are placed circles and rectangle divided into three uniform wedges of white, blue and red colors derived from the colours of the state flag. The words "Medals of the Ministry of Transport" appear on the back of the medal.
(3) The award also includes a diploma, badge and stand.
Valuation award
(1) The award is granted by the Ministry of Transport, on a proposal or on its own initiative, to a natural or legal person for exceptional work, significant merit or long-term activity in the field of transport.
(2) A natural person may also be awarded a valuation in memoriam.
Application for valuation
(1) The application for award of the award shall be submitted in writing to the Ministry of Transport.
(2) The proposal to award the award contains:
(a) the name and, where applicable, the name, surname and, where appropriate, academic title, date of birth and residence of the applicant, if any, if it is a natural person,
(b) the firm or name and registered office of the applicant, if any,
(c) the name and, where appropriate, the name, surname and, where appropriate, the academic title, the date of birth and residence of the person proposed for the award, if any, of the natural person;
(d) the firm or the name and registered office of the person proposed for the award, if any, of the legal person; and
(e) justification of the proposal.
(3) The application for the award of an award to a natural person in memoriam shall also include the name or, where applicable, the name, surname or academic title, the date of birth and residence of the natural person who takes over the award.
Valuation transmission
The award ceremony shall normally take place twice in a calendar year.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 July 2024.
