DECLARATION
of 24 March 2014
amending Decree No. 24 / 2011 Coll., on river basin management and flood risk management plans
The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of the Environment, pursuant to Sections 25 (2) and 26 (2) of Act No. 254 / 2001 Coll., on Water and on the amendment of certain laws (Water Act), as amended by Act No. 150 / 2010 Coll.:
Decree No. 24 / 2011 Coll., on river basin management plans and flood risk management plans, is amended as follows:
1. In Article 4 (1), the words "taking into account best practices, including best environmental practices and best available techniques laid down in other legislation17," shall be added at the end of the text of point (j).
Footnote 17 reads:
"17) For example Annex 3 to Act No. 76 / 2002 Coll., on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control, on Integrated Pollution Register and on the Amendment of Certain Acts (Integrated Prevention Act), as amended by Act No. 222 / 2006 Coll. and Act No. 69 / 2013 Coll. '
2. In Article 17 (4) of the Introductory Part of the provision, the words "unless the achievement of the objectives of water protection as an environmental component of the groundwater service in the river basin management plan is affected 'shall be inserted after the words" to be proposed'.
3. in Article 17 (4) (e):
'(e) the incorporation of natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for storage purposes into geological structures to ensure gas supply, where there is a public interest in such supply and where the incorporation is carried out in such a way as to avoid a threat to the quality of the underlying groundwater,';
4. In Article 17 (5), "Article 4 (2) (k) 'is replaced by" Article 4 (1) (k)';
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 April 2014.
