DECLARATION
of 28 January 2008
amending Decree No 671 / 2004 Coll., laying down details on the organisation of admission procedures for secondary school education, as amended by Decree No 422 / 2006 Coll.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports provides according to § 64 of Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on Pre-School, Basic, Medium, Higher Vocational and Other Education (Education Act):
Decree No 671 / 2004 Coll., laying down the details of the organisation of the admission procedure for secondary school education, as amended by Decree No 422 / 2006 Coll., is hereby amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 3 (3), the words "on the first working day 'are replaced by the words" on the working day' and after the first sentence, the words "The day of the examination shall be determined by the Director of the School. ';
2. Paragraph 3 (4) reads as follows:
"(4) Talent examinations in the fields of education with a talent test in the first round of the admission procedure shall take place on the working day of the second full calendar week of January with 5 working days. Talent tests in the conservatory in the first round of the admission procedure shall take place from 15 to 31 January. The day of the examination shall be determined by the school director. ';
3. Paragraph 3 (5) reads as follows:
"(5) In the first round of the admission procedure to a non-daily form of education, to an extension study, to a shortened study for secondary education with a certificate and to a shortened study for secondary education with a graduate examination:
(a) entrance examinations, where provided for by the school director, on the working day of the week following the week in which the entrance examinations referred to in the first sentence of paragraph 3 may take place;
(b) talent tests on the working day of the week following the week referred to in paragraph 4.
The day of the examination shall be determined by the school director. ';
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
