GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 12 January 2005
amending Government Regulation No 416 / 2002 Coll., laying down the amount of the levy and the method of paying it to the source of radioactive waste to a nuclear account and the annual amount of the contribution to municipalities and the rules governing its provision
The Government hereby orders pursuant to Article 27 (5) of Act No. 18 / 1997 Coll., on the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy and Ionising Radiation (Atomic Act) and on the amendment and addition of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 13 / 2002 Coll.:
Government Decree No. 416 / 2002 Coll., establishing the amount of the levy and the way in which it is paid to the producer of radioactive waste to the nuclear account and the annual amount of the contribution and the rules governing its provision to municipalities, is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 4 (1), the amount "CZK 1 000 000 'is replaced by" CZK 1 500 000'.
2. In Paragraph 4 (3), the words "in 2003 and the application for it for that year may be submitted by the municipality to the Commission no later than 1 month after the date of entry into force of this Regulation 'are replaced by" in 2005'.
Transitional provision
An application for a contribution of the amount referred to in Article 4 (1) of Decree-Law No 416 / 2002 Coll., determining the amount of the levy and the way it is paid to the producer of radioactive waste to the nuclear account and the annual amount of the contribution to and the provision of it to municipalities, as effective from the date of entry into force of this Decree, may be submitted by the municipality to the Radioactive Waste Storage System within 1 month of the date of entry into force of this Decree by the Government. The request thus submitted will replace the request made pursuant to § 4 (2) of Decree No. 416 / 2002 Coll., which sets out the amount of the levy and the way it is paid to the producer of radioactive waste to the nuclear account and the annual amount of the contribution and the rules for its provision, as effective until the date of entry into force of this Decree by the Government.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 February 2005.
