DECLARATION
of 11 February 2003
amending Decree No. 86 / 2000 Coll., determining the countries whose nationals may reside in the transit area of an international airport in the Czech Republic only on the basis of an airport visa issued
The Ministry of Interior provides pursuant to § 182 paragraph 1 (b) of Act No. 326 / 1999 Coll., on the residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic and on the amendment of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 140 / 2001 Coll. and Act No. 217 / 2002 Coll.:
Decree No. 86 / 2000 Coll., establishing States whose nationals may reside in the transit area of an international airport in the Czech Republic only on the basis of an airport visa issued, is hereby amended as follows:
1. in Article 1, the following point (h) is inserted after point (g):
"(h) the Republic of Lebanon,"
Points (h) to (m) shall be renumbered as points (i) to (n).
2. In Paragraph 1, the current text becomes paragraph 1 and the following paragraph 2 is added:
"(2) In the transit area of an international airport within the territory of the Czech Republic, aliens who are shown by a travel document from one of the States referred to in paragraph 1 may continue to stay only on the basis of an airport visa issued. '
3.
Paragraph 1 shall not apply to aliens who are shown by valid evidence of a long-term or permanent residence permit issued by the Principality of Andorra, Japan, Canada, the Principality of Monaco, the Republic of San Marino, the Swiss Confederation or the United States of America. '
4. Article 3 is deleted.
Efficacy
This Decree takes effect on 17 February 2003.
