Government Decree No. 41 / 1963 Coll.

The territory of the Giant Mountains and Rýchor, as defined in the Annex to this Government Regulation, comprises the Giant National Park ("the National Park ').

(1) In the national park there is a need to create favourable conditions and an appropriate environment to strengthen workers' health, recovery and education by maintaining, restoring, universally protected and enhancing Krkonose nature with its wealth and landscape beauty.

(2) All planning, construction, agricultural and other activities, recreation, sport and tourism may only be carried out in the territory of the national park in accordance with its needs and mission according to the urban plan of the Giant Mountains; *) according to the principles contained in the plan, forestry activities should be carried out in the territory of the national park.

(1) The development of the national park is mainly an active part of the national committees operating in its territory.

(2) Protection of the natural values of the national park is the responsibility of every visitor to the national park, as well as of the organisations and workers operating in its territory.

(3) The authorities and organisations using the territory of the national park to carry out their activities shall ensure, in particular in the operation of their facilities, that they develop and protect that territory.

(1) The National Park manages and manages the state conservation of nature in its territory by the Eastern Bohemian Regional National Committee; establish the "Krkonoše National Park Administration '(hereinafter referred to as the" Administration') for the management of the national park.

(2) In particular, the management will discuss all issues of development and protection of the national park and coordinate economic, health and cultural interests within its territory; to that end, they shall be invited to any proceedings or proceedings concerning the national park. The competent authority shall decide only after consultation of the Administration.

The National Park shall establish: The Eastern Bohemian Regional National Committee of the Assembly of Advisory, Initiative and Coordination Choir, the members of which are appointed from among its representatives, representatives of central government bodies, national committees and other bodies with competence in the national park and social organisations.

(1) The Ministry of Education and Culture, which also monitors and controls its all-round development and helps to fulfil its mission, is responsible for the central management and supervision of the national nature conservation in the national park.

(2) Details of the protection and use of the national park and the organisation of the Administration will be provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture in agreement with the participating ministries and other central authorities and the Eastern Czech Regional National Committee.

The status of the spa place "Janská Lazne" and the regulations issued for the protection of these baths under Act No. 43 / 1955 Coll., on Czechoslovak baths and springs remain intact.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.

The Krkonoše National Park border is documented in the design map of the Krkonoše zoning plan in the scale 1: 25 000 (stored at the East Bohemian Regional National Committee in Hradec Králové).

On the north side it is the same as the state border between ČSSR and PLR, on the west with the border of Semily to the Rejdic Road, from where you follow the lower border of continuous forest areas above the upper building of the village Paseka nad Jizerou and the settlements of Havírna, the congested valley of Jizera, passes through the settlement of the Hranice and continues along the marked tourist path over Mílenov, from where it goes south to the lower border of the forest; passes through the forest edge through the k. 825.3, continues along the lower edge of the forest over the highest laid development of the Horeny Homes, where it turns south and passes over the upper construction of the Rokytina nad Jizerou (Zákoutí); the lower border of the forest passes through the Hutian stream, from which it continues to follow the lower border of the forest to the forest edge near Heilov, which intersects along the road; along the lower border of the forest passes the upper construction of Upper Dušnice, Stromkovice and Vítkovice, touches the southern side of the enclave of Mevaldová Vrích, continues along the lower border of the forest just above the Black Hand stream; follow the lower border of the forest above Janova mountain, Zákoutí, Levinkami and follow the road around the Hotel Krakonoš on Beneck; northeast of Mrklov turns from road to east and continues along the lower border of the forest beyond the pavement in Podpora; it passes through the Elbe under the Kraushová Mlýn, from where it follows the lower border of the forest on the left bank of the Elbe and continues over the construction of the Upper Vrchlabí, further follows the lower border of the forest complex of the mountain of Vapenice k. 785,8 and Mlýn hill k. 705,2, from where it passes through Luisa valley along the lower border of the forest and goes over the upper building of the Lower Court; its course also identifies with the route of the field road and passes through the area of the Bönisch Buds until again on the lower border of the forest, which is followed through the Silver stream above the Black Mine to Bolkova Pasek, where it passes along the road through the forest line above Bolkov and Javornik; continues through the forest along the forest path through to 604,1, from there east to to to 661,4, from where it turns north to k. 610,9 and continues along the lower border of the forest through the Janský brook; further follows the eastern and northeast lower border of the forest k. 777,9 from where it continues to k. 698,4 and further along the lower border of the forest and the field road to k. 635,0 and continues along the lower border of the forest k. 658,9, where it turns to the cemetery on the southern edge of Upper Maršov; passes through the communication II / 296 and the flow of Hops to the lower edge of the forest, which is followed in the south direction up to 555,9, k. 754,2, k. 744,9 through the Kraví vrch k. 681,1 k. 630,2, from there it passes along the field road to the south edge of the Lower Sephraf and further along the left bank of the stream above the lake near the Mlada Buk turns northeast along the road k. 560,5, and continues along the field road towards the north edge of the Prkenzephraf. 599,6, from which it follows the lower border of the forest over the Břeho k. 748,0 to the hill. 865,6, from which it along the field road along the northeast to the north end of the Prkenných mine; continues along the lower edge of the forest edge lying south below the road II / 300 and passes through this communication under the château and continues along the lower edge of the forest at the west edge of Žacléř; the lower border follows back to the state border between CSSR and PLR.
