amending Act No 231 / 2001 Coll., on the operation of radio and television broadcasting and amending other laws, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 231 / 2001 Coll., on the operation of radio and television broadcasting and on the amendment of other laws, as amended by Act No. 309 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 274 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 341 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 501 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 626 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 82 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 127 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 348 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 302 / 2011 Coll., Act No. 235 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 160 / 2007 Coll., Act No. 196 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 227 / 2007 Coll., Act No. 124 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 384 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 41 / 2009 Coll.
1. in Article 5, the following point (y) is inserted after point (x):
"(y) issue implementing legislation in the field of radio and television broadcasting and audiovisual media services on request, to the extent authorised under this Act;"
Points (y) and (z) shall be renumbered as points (z) and (za).
2. In Section 49, the title reads: "Obligations in the classification of advertisements, teleshopping and designation of a sponsor for broadcasting '.
3. In Paragraph 49, the following paragraph 3 is inserted after paragraph 2:
"(3) The broadcaster is obliged to ensure that advertisements, teleshopping and sponsoring are broadcast in such a way that the level of volume of their broadcasts is in line with the technical specification laid down in the Decree issued by the Council pursuant to § 5 (y). Such a mode of transmission shall also be used when broadcasting audio or audio-visual means separating advertising and teleshopping from the other parts of the transmission referred to in paragraph 1 (a). ';
Paragraphs 3 to 7 shall be renumbered paragraphs 4 to 8.
4. In Paragraph 49 (7), "paragraph 3 'is replaced by" paragraph 4';
5. In Paragraph 60, at the end of paragraph 2, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following point (k) is added:
"(k) infringes obligations under Paragraph 49 (3)."
6. In Paragraph 67 (1), "Paragraph 49 (2) and (3) 'is replaced by" Paragraph 49 (2) and (4)'.
7. In Paragraph 67 (2), "Paragraph 49 (2) and (3) 'is replaced by" Paragraph 49 (2) and (4)';
Efficacy
This law shall take effect on the first day of the seventh calendar month following its publication.
