GOVERNMENT REGULATION

of 14 February 2024

amending Government Regulation No 240 / 2014 Coll., on the amount of time fees, toll rates, toll discounts and the procedure for applying the toll discount, as amended by Government Regulation No 479 / 2020 Coll.

The Government orders pursuant to Article 46 (1) of Act No. 13 / 1997 Coll., on Road, as amended by Act No. 80 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 152 / 2011 Coll., Act No. 196 / 2012 Coll., Act No. 227 / 2019 Coll. and Act No. 349 / 2023 Coll.:

Čl. I

Government Decree No. 240 / 2014 Coll., on the amount of time fees, toll rates, toll discounts and procedure for applying the toll discount, as amended by Government Decree No. 479 / 2020 Coll., is amended as follows:

1. In the title of the Government Decree, the words "time charges, toll rates," are replaced by the words "toll rates,"

2. At the end of footnote 2, the sentence "Directive (EU) 2022 / 362 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 February 2022 amending Directives 1999 / 62 / EC, 1999 / 37 / EC and (EU) 2019 / 520 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the charging of vehicles for the use of certain infrastructures is added to the separate line. '

3. In Article 1, the words "the amount of the time fee," are deleted.

4. Article 2 shall be deleted, including the title.

5. in Article 3 (1) (c) of the introductory part of the provision, the word "EURO" shall be inserted after the word "class."

6. In Article 3 (1) (c) (3), the words "with the exception of vehicles fuelled by natural gas or biomethane 'are deleted.

7. in Article 3 (1) (c) (4):

"4. using only electricity or hydrogen as fuel; ';

8. in Article 3 (1) (f):

"(f) vehicle CO2 emission classes at vehicle tariffs

1. CO2 emission class 1,

2. CO2 emission class 2,

3. CO2 emission class 3,

4. CO2 emission class 4, or

5. CO2 emission class 5. ';

9. in Article 6 (2) (a):

"(a) details of the vehicle operator

1. the name and, where applicable, the name and surname, business name or name,

2. the date of birth or, if it is a legal person or an undertaking, its identification number;

3. the address of the residence or registered office; and

4. contact details for electronic delivery, ';

10. in Article 6 (2) (b), the words "whose vehicle register or similar registration is registered" shall be replaced by the words "which vehicle is registered."

11. in Article 6 (2) (c), the words "a technical licence indicating the category of vehicle, the largest authorised mass and the emission class of the vehicle" shall be replaced by the words "a vehicle registration certificate or similar document issued by a Member State other than the European Union."

12. Annexes 1 to 4, including the headings, read as follows:

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March 2024, with the exception of Article I (13), which shall take effect on 25 March 2024.
