DECLARATION
of 4 February 2020
amending Decree No 343 / 2014 Coll., on Vehicle Registration, as amended
The Ministry of Transport provides, pursuant to Section 91 (1) of Act No. 56 / 2001 Coll., on the conditions of the operation of vehicles on the road and on the amendment of Act No. 168 / 1999 Coll., on the liability insurance for damage caused by the operation of the vehicle and on the amendment of certain related laws (Act No. 170 / 2007 Coll., Act No. 297 / 1999 Coll., Act No. 103 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 411 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 243 / 2016 Coll., Act No. 298 / 2016 Coll., Act No. 63 / 2009 Coll., and Act No. 193 / 2018 Coll., (hereinafter "Act ') on the implementation of Section 7 (6) and § 7b Act No. 298 / 2016 Coll.
Decree No 343 / 2014 Coll., on Vehicle Registration, as amended by Decree No 399 / 2015 Coll., Decree No 10 / 2017 Coll., Order No 86 / 2017 Coll., Order No 158 / 2017 Coll. and Order No 72 / 2019 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 29 (6), the words "protective features' are replaced by the words" protective element '.
2. Paragraph 29 (11) reads:
"(11) The technical specifications of the registration plate protection element and the location of the protection element on the registration plate table are set out in Annex 27 to this Decree. '
3. In Annex 26, Part 2. The physical characteristics of the registration plates in point 5 shall be as follows:
"5. The location of the protection element on the registration plate table is shown in Annex 27 to this Decree. '
4. Annex 27, including the title, reads:

Technical specification of the plate protection element with registration mark and position of the protective element on the plate with registration mark
The protective element of the plate with registration mark is the shape of a rectangle with the letters "CZ."
The colour of the letters CZ is the same as that of the reflective film on the plate with the registration mark. The space in the rectangle, around the letters CZ, is of different colour than the colour of the reflective foil on the plate with registration mark.
The protective element on the registration plate table located on the vehicle shall be visible only at an angle of 30 degrees, with a tolerance of ± 10 degrees from the horizontal plane passing through that element.
The protective element is contained in the structure of the reflective plate with registration mark.
The protective element is made in such a way as not to break the top layer of the reflective film.
The protective element does not reduce the values of the reflexibility of the registration mark as set out in Annex 26 to this Decree.
The protective element is not removable without permanent damage to the reflective film.

Transitional provisions
1. Until 31 March 2021, tables with registration mark may be produced in accordance with Decree No 343 / 2014 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this Order.
2. Tables with registration mark pursuant to Decree No 343 / 2014 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this Order, may be issued until their stocks are exhausted.
Efficacy
This Decision shall enter into force on 1 July 2020.
