THE LAW
of 8 February 1995
amending and supplementing Act No. 124 / 1992 Coll., on Military Police
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 124 / 1992 Coll., on Military Police, is amended as follows:
1. In Section 1, the words "Czechoslovak Army 'are replaced by the words" Army of the Czech Republic' and in the first sentence at the end the following words are added: "and the property of the State administered or used by the Ministry of Defence '.
2. In Article 2 (b), the words "Czechoslovak Army 'are replaced by the words" Czech Army' and the following words are added at the end: "and the property of the State administered or used by the Ministry of Defence '.
3. Article 3 (d), including Notes 1) and 1a, reads as follows:
"(d) acts as a police authority in criminal proceedings 1) and saves offenses of soldiers, 1a)
1) Paragraph 12 (2) of Act No. 141 / 1961 Coll., on Criminal Procedure of the Court (Criminal Code), as amended.
(1a) § 58 et seq. of Act No. 200 / 1990 Coll., on Infringements, as amended. '
4. In Section 3 (e), the words "Czechoslovak Army 'are replaced by the words" Czech Army' and the following words are added at the end: "as well as after matters in the administration or use of the Ministry of Defence, '.
5. In Article 3 (f), the words "Czechoslovak Army 'are replaced by the words" Army of the Czech Republic' and the words "material of importance for defence 'are replaced by the words" property of the State administered or used by the Ministry of Defence'.

"(1) The organisation structure of the Military Police shall be determined by the Minister of Defence after consultation in the committee responsible of the Chamber of Deputies of Parliament."
7. In Paragraph 8 (1) (c), the words "material of importance for defence 'are replaced by the words" property of the State administered or used by the Ministry of Defence'.
8. In the second sentence of Paragraph 9 (2), "Vehicles used 'is replaced by" Means of transport used'.
9. In Paragraph 12 (5), the second sentence is deleted.
10. in Paragraph 18 (3), the words "police corps" are replaced by the words "Police of the Czech Republic";
11. The following Section 21a is inserted after Section 21, which includes the title:
Authorisation for use of bait and safety equipment
In carrying out the tasks referred to in Article 3 (f), the military police shall be entitled to use means of safety and safety. ';
12. In Paragraph 33 (5), the last sentence shall be deleted.
13. In Paragraph 35, the words "and 'shall be replaced by" and comma' and the words "and 'shall be inserted after'.
14. The following Section 36a is inserted after Section 36:
The method of external designation of the Military Police, models of service cards, colour design and means of transport of the Military Police shall be adapted by the Ministry of Defence by decree. '
15. In the heading above Section 37, the words "police forces and municipal police 'are replaced by the words" Police of the Czech Republic and municipal police'.
16. In Section 38, the words "Federal Police College, Castle Police College," and the words "Slovak Police College," are deleted and the words "municipal police" are replaced by the words "municipal police."
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on 1 April 1995.
