DECLARATION
of 24 September 2025
amending Decree No 187 / 2009 Coll., on minimum requirements for general medical, dental, pharmacy and general practical medical education programmes, as amended by Decree No 281 / 2016 Coll.
The Ministry of Health provides, pursuant to § 37 (1) (c) of Act No. 95 / 2004 Coll., on the conditions for obtaining and recognising professional competence and specialised competence for the exercise of the medical profession of physician, dental practitioner and pharmacist, as amended by Act No. 189 / 2008 Coll. and Act No. 67 / 2017 Coll.:
Decree No 187 / 2009 Coll., on minimum requirements for general medical, dental, pharmacy and general practical medical education programmes, as amended by Decree No 281 / 2016 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In footnote 1, the words "as amended by Directive 2013 / 55 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 November 2013 amending Directive 2005 / 36 / EU on the recognition of professional qualifications and Regulation (EU) No 1024 / 2012 on administrative cooperation through the Internal Market Information System (" the IMI Regulation ')' are deleted and the sentence "Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2024 / 782 of 4 March 2024 amending Directive 2005 / 36 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards minimum training requirements for the profession of nurses responsible for general care, dental practitioners and pharmacists' is added to the separate line.
2. the words "genetics and regenerative medicine" shall be added to Article 3 (1) (a) at the end of the text of point 3.
3. In Article 3 (1) (b), the words "or physiological chemistry 'shall be added at the end of the text of point 5.
4. In Article 3 (1) (b) (11), "epidemiology 'is replaced by" public health in dental care'.
5. in Article 3 (1) (b), the following point 20 is added:
"20th immunology,"
6. in Paragraph 3 (1) (c) (14), "professional associations" shall be replaced by "professional practice management."
7. In Paragraph 3 (1) (c), at the end of point 15, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following points 16 to 19 are added:
"16. gerodontology,
17th oral implantology,
18. Interprofessional cooperation-based care,
19th digital technology in dental medicine. '
8. In Article 3, at the end of paragraph 2, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following points (i) and (j) are added:
"(i) knowledge of digital technologies in dental medicine and a good understanding of their use and safe application in practice;
(j) the skills necessary for all activities of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of anomalies and diseases of teeth, mouth, jaws and related tissues. ';
9. in Paragraph 4 (1) (i), the words "pathology and pathophysiology," and the words "including medical" shall be replaced by "medical."
10. in Article 4 (1) (p), the words "including pharmaceutical care," shall be deleted;
11. at the end of paragraph 1, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following points (r) to (x) are added:
"(r) pharmaceutical care;
(s) biopharmaceutical technology;
(t) genetics and pharmacogenomics;
(u) immunology;
(v) social pharmacy;
(w) public health, including epidemiology,
(x) pharmacology. ';
12. in Article 4 (2), the words "or at the workplace providing pharmaceutical care to the health service provider providing bed care" shall be added at the end of the text of point (a).
13. in Paragraph 4 (2) (b), the words "and clinical pharmacy" shall be deleted at the end of the text of point 3.
14. in Article 4 (2), at the end of point (b), the word "a" shall be deleted; at the end of the paragraph the dot shall be replaced by "a" and the following point (d) shall be added:
"(d) knowledge and skills in:
1. interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary cooperation, interdisciplinary practice and communication,
2. information technology, digital technologies and skills in their practical application;
3. areas of public health and its impact on health promotion and disease management;
4. pharmaceutical care and clinical pharmacy. ';
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2026.
