Communication from the Ministry of Interior No. 372 / 2025 Coll.

In accordance with Article 10 (3) of Act No. 191 / 2016 Coll., on the Protection of State Borders of the Czech Republic and on the Amendment to the Related Acts, as amended by Act No. 314 / 2025 Coll., the Ministry of Interior announces the start-up date of the Entry / Exit System (EES) for the registration of Entry and Exit Data and Entry Data, as regards third-country nationals crossing the external borders of the Member States, and Regulation (EU) No 2025 / 1534 on the conditions of access to the EES for law enforcement purposes and amending the Convention for the implementation of the Schengen Agreement and Regulations (EC) No 767 / 2008 and (EU) No 1077 / 2011, as amended by Regulation (EU) No 1077 / 2011, and Regulation (EU) No 2025 / 1534 on temporary derogations from certain provisions of Regulation (EU) 2017 / 2226 / 399, as regards the temporary entry and the entry and entry and entry and entry and entry and entry and entry and entry and entry and refusal data system (EU):

The use of the Entry / Exit System (EES) for the registration of entry and exit data and refusal of entry data will be launched in the Czech Republic in accordance with Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025 / 1544 setting out the date of establishment of the Entry / Exit System pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2017 / 2226 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as amended, in accordance with the national plan for the operation of the EES.
