GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 16 February 2022
on the second increase in pension supplements in 2022
The Government provides, pursuant to Article 8 (2) of Act No. 198 / 1993 Coll., on the illegality of the Communist regime and on the resistance against it, as amended by Act No. 220 / 2011 Coll. and Act No. 212 / 2016 Coll., and under Article 2 (8) of the Act No. 357 / 2005 Coll., on the recognition of participants in the national struggle for the creation and liberation of Czechoslovakia and certain survivors of them, on the special contribution to the pension of certain persons, on the lump sum of certain participants in the national struggle for liberation between 1939 and 1945 and on the amendment of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 108 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 220 / 2011 Coll.
(1) The pension supplements provided for in Government Decree No. 622 / 2004 Coll., on the provision of a supplement to the pension to alleviate certain injustices caused by the Communist regime in the social field, as amended by Government Decree No. 405 / 2005 Coll. and Government Decree No. 369 / 2007 Coll., and under Act No. 357 / 2005 Coll., on the award of participants in the national struggle for the creation and liberation of Czechoslovakia and of certain survivors after them, on the special contribution to the pension of certain persons, on the lump sum of money for the exemption of certain participants in the national struggle between 1939 and 1945 Coll., and on the amendment of Act No. 212 / 2016 Coll., hereinafter "the surcharge"), "the Act No. 306 / 2008 Coll." The allowances shall be increased from the payment of the pension with which they are paid due after 31 May 2022.
(2) The allowances granted between 1 June 2022 and 31 December 2022 shall be increased by 8,2% from the date on which the supplement is granted.
(3) After the increase referred to in paragraph 1 or paragraph 2, the amount of the premium shall be rounded up to the full crown.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 June 2022.
