on the issue of the commemorative silver five hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of the approval of the Czechoslovak Constitution and the establishment of the Constitutional Court of the Czechoslovak Republic
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
§ 1
(1) On 26 February 2020 the 100th anniversary of the approval of the Czechoslovak Constitution and the creation of the Constitutional Court of the Czechoslovak Republic is issued a commemorative silver coin of 500 CZK (hereinafter referred to as the "five hundred crowns").
(2) Five hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as "special version").
(3) Five hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 500 koruna is 25 g, its diameter is 40 mm and its strength is 2.75 mm. In the case of a five-hundredcrown embossing, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,50 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of the five hundred crown in normal design is serrated, the edge of the five hundred crown in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 25 g *."
§ 2
(1) On the front side of the five hundred crown is the theme of the original book link of the Czechoslovak Constitution from 1920 with a dominant middle state character. The text "CZECH REPUBLIC" is placed in the upper part of the coin, under which the denomination of the coin is marked with the abbreviation "500 CZK." The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the composition of the letters "No" and "M", is placed at the right edge of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the five-hundred crown, there is a recurring partial theme of the original book link of the Czechoslovak Constitution from 1920, in which a small state emblem is incorporated in the top part of the coin and an entrance portal of the Constitutional Court building in Brno. In the middle of the coin are the four lines of the texts "CZECHOSPOSLOVAK Constitution," "CONSTITUTION COURT" and "1920-2020." On the right of the input portal are the initials of the author of the academic sculptor Zbynek Fojt, which are composed of letters "F" and "Z."
(3) The image of the five hundred crowns is given in the annex to this decree.
§ 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 26 February 2020.
