THE LAW
of 15 February 2018
amending certain laws governing the number of members of the special inspection bodies of the Chamber of Deputies
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment of the Act on intelligence services of the Czech Republic
In Article 12a (1) of Act No. 153 / 1994 Coll., on the Intelligence Services of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 325 / 2017 Coll., in the sentence, the first words "of 7 members' are replaced by" of at least 7 members' and after the first sentence, the sentence "The Chamber of Deputies sets out the number of members to be represented by each parliamentary club established by membership of the political party or political movement for which Members were candidates in elections; the number of members is always odd. ';
Amendment to the Security Information Service Act
In Article 18 (2) of Act No 154 / 1994 Coll., on the Security Information Service, the first words "of seven members' shall be replaced by" of at least seven members' and the sentence "The Chamber of Deputies shall be inserted after the first sentence" The number of members shall be determined in such a way that each parliamentary club established according to the membership of the political party or political movement for which the Members were candidates in the elections is represented; the number of members is always odd. ';
Amendment to the Military Intelligence Act
In Article 21 (2) of Act No 289 / 2005 Coll., on Military Intelligence, the first words "of seven members' shall be replaced by" of at least seven members' and the sentence "The Chamber of Deputies shall determine the number of members to represent each parliamentary club established by membership of the political party or political movement for which the Members were candidates in elections; the number of members is always odd. ';
Amendment to the Act on the protection of classified information and on security competence
In Article 145 (2) of Act No. 412 / 2005 Coll., on the protection of classified information and on security competence, the first words "of 7 members' are replaced by" of at least 7 members' and the sentence "The Chamber of Deputies sets out the number of members to represent each parliamentary club established by membership of a political party or political movement for which Members were candidates in elections; the number of members is always odd. ';
Amendment of the Act on certain measures against the legalisation of proceeds from crime and terrorist financing
In Article 31b (2) of Act No. 253 / 2008 Coll., on certain measures against the legalisation of proceeds from crime and terrorist financing, as amended by Act No. 166 / 2015 Coll., in the sentence the first words "of seven members' are replaced by" of at least seven members' and after the sentence "The Chamber of Deputies sets out the number of members to be represented by each parliamentary club established by membership of a political party or political movement for which Members were candidates in elections; the number of members is always odd. ';
EFFECTIVE
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
