DECLARATION

on the means of identification of streets and other public spaces, the names, the use and location of numbers to identify buildings, the particulars of the declaration on the recalculation of buildings and the procedure and notification of the allocation of numbers and documents needed for the allocation of numbers
According to § 153 (2) for the implementation of § 33 of Act No. 128 / 2000 Coll., on municipalities (municipal establishment), and § 120 (2) for the implementation of § 14 (9) of the Act No. 131 / 2000 Coll., on the capital city of Prague:
Labelling of streets and other public spaces names
The implementation of the tables on street and other public areas names, including colour and size, shall be established by the municipality and the capital of Prague (hereinafter referred to as "the municipality") uniformly for the entire territory of the municipality.
(1) Tables with the name of the street or other public spaces in the municipality are placed in such a way that they are visible.
(2) Tables with street name in the village are always placed at the beginning and at the end of each street and before and behind the intersection with another street.
If the street names and other public spaces in the municipality are also given in the language of the national minority, 1) the name in the language of the national minority is placed on the same table as the name in the Czech language. The font size and type are in the same version.
Use and location of numbers to designate buildings in the municipality
Each building (2) is marked with only one descriptive or registered number. If two or more buildings are connected in one building, this building has all the numbers of the original buildings in the new decision of the municipality on the renumbering of the buildings.
(1) The descriptive, accounting and indicative numbers differ in colour. For numbering, Arabic numerals are used between 1 and 9999, for descriptive and accounting numbers without any additions.
(2) One small sign of the Czech alphabet without diacritic marks can be used as an addition to the numbers of the orientation.
(1) The numbers are placed in such a way that they are visible.
(2) Indicative numbers are always placed under a descriptive table.
Forms of declaration of renumbering of buildings
The announcement of the recalculation of buildings sent by the municipality to the relevant cadastral office shall be accompanied by:
(a) a decision by the municipality on the renumbering of buildings;
(b) a comparative set of existing and new building numbers containing building data according to the basic register of territorial identification, addresses and real estate.
Final provisions
Decree No. 97 / 1961 Coll., on the names of municipalities, street marking and house numbering are hereby repealed.
This decree takes effect on the day of the elections for regional councils in 2000.
