GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 19 July 2021
on awards awarded by the National Sports Agency
The Government orders pursuant to § 49 (6) of Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and on the amendment of certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended by Act No. 26 / 2008 Coll.:
Valuation awarded
The National Sports Agency may award the following awards:
(a) Award of the President of the National Sports Agency for the Medal of Placement at the Olympic, Paralympic and Deaphelian Games and at the Global Games organised by the International Association for Sport of Persons with Mental Disabilities ("Global Games"),
b) Award of the President of the National Sports Agency for the Best Athletes,
(c) Award of the President of the National Sports Agency for Traders and Members of the Sports Implementation Team for the medal placement of an athlete or a sports team at Olympic, Paralympic, Deaphalympic Games or Global Games.
Award of the President of the National Sports Agency for the Medal of Placement at Olympic, Paralympic and Deafalympic Games and at Global Games
(1) The award referred to in Article 1 (a) is awarded to an athlete for the medal placement at the Olympic, Paralympic or Deaphalian Games or at the Global Games.
(2) The evaluation referred to in Article 1 (a) shall consist of a substantive or monetary valuation taking into account the medal placement of an athlete at the Olympic, Paralympic or Deaphalian Games or at the Global Games. The value of the individual award must not exceed CZK 2,500,000.
Award of the President of the National Sports Agency for the Best Athletes
(1) The award provided for in § 1 (b) is awarded to an athlete for an excellent result in an important international sport competition, for exceptional sports performance or for excellent representation of the Czech Republic.
(2) The valuation according to § 1 (b) constitutes a cash or material valuation of up to CZK 200,000. The amount of the awarded award shall take into account the locality of the athlete or the importance of exceptional sporting performance or representation. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 2 000 000.
Award of the President of the National Sports Agency for Traders and Members of the Sports Implementation Team for the medal placement of an athlete or a sports team at Olympic, Paralympic, Deaphalympic Games or Global Games
(1) The award referred to in Article 1 (c) is awarded to the coach and member of the team of implementation of an athlete or a sports team who has won a medal at Olympic, Paralympic, Deaphalian Games or Global Games.
(2) The evaluation referred to in Article 1 (c) shall consist of a substantive or monetary valuation taking into account the medal placement of the entrusted sportsman or sports team at the Olympic, Paralympic, Deaphalian Games or the Global Games. The value of the total award of all coaches and members of the implementation team for one medal position of an individual athlete or sports team in a maximum of 5 athletes shall not exceed CZK 800,000. The value of the total award of all coaches and members of the implementation team for one medal position of the sports team in the number of 6 or more athletes shall not exceed CZK 1,300,000. The specific amount of awards of individual coaches and members of the implementation team shall be determined by the chairman of the National Sports Agency, taking into account their share of the medal position achieved.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 2021.
