DECLARATION
Ministry of Finance
of 31 December 1964
determining the amount of the State contribution to cooperative housing construction starting from 1 January 1965
The Ministry of Finance, in agreement with the State Planning Commission, the State Commission for Investment Construction, the Central Council of Cooperatives and other participating central authorities, and the authorities provide, pursuant to § 88 (2) of Economic Code No. 109 / 1964 Coll.:
(1) The contribution pursuant to Paragraph 1 (1) of Decree No. 191 / 1964 Coll., on financial, credit and other assistance to cooperative housing and the construction of family houses, for the construction of cooperative housing houses starting on 1 January 1965, is determined by the size of the flats as follows:

If the two flat-size indicators laid down for the grant of a subsidy are not fulfilled, the lower allowance concerned shall be granted.
(2) If the interests of the management of housing policy in the county so require, the Regional National Committees may provide for a contribution of a different amount or step it up according to the size of the apartment, other than those referred to in paragraph 1 but uniform for the whole region. In so doing, the sum of the contributions granted in the county shall not exceed the amount which would be due to the cooperative housing construction according to the size of the flats and the rates referred to in paragraph 1.
Decree No. 5 / 1964 Coll., which sets the amount of the State contribution for cooperative housing construction started from 1 January 1964 as regards cooperative housing construction launched after 31 December 1964, is hereby repealed.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

*) The area of use of the apartment is the area in terms of the project Czechoslovak state standards (CSN).
*) The construction of the cooperative's own design, carried out without entitlement to the planned capacity of the building production with the exception of the execution of certain works, is considered to be a complete self-help, but not more than 20% of the budget price of the building (Sections 4 and 12 of Decree No. 191 / 1964 Coll.).
