amending Act No. 320 / 2015 Coll., on the Fire Department of the Czech Republic and amending certain laws (Fire Department Act), as amended, and Act No. 133 / 1985 Coll., on fire protection, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:

ČÁST PRVNÍ

Amendment to the Fire Rescue Corps Act
Čl. I
Act No. 320 / 2015 Coll., on the Fire Department of the Czech Republic and on the amendment of certain laws (Fire Department Act), as amended by Act No. 183 / 2017 Coll., Act No. 51 / 2021 Coll., Act No. 374 / 2021 Coll. and Act No. 31 / 2024 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 6, at the end of paragraph 3, the sentence "The Directorate-General shall also perform the tasks of the Director-General of the Public Research Institution set up under paragraph 9."
2. In Article 6, the following paragraph 9 is added:
"(9) The Ministry may establish a public research institute for the security of the interests of the Czech Republic (6) for the purpose of carrying out the tasks of fire protection, population protection, integrated rescue system and civil emergency planning.
6) Act No. 341 / 2005 Coll., on Public Research Institutions, as amended. '
3. Paragraph 43 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The organisational part of the fire brigade, which is an organisational part of the State, and the Ministry through the Directorate-General may:
(a) to negotiate, to the extent necessary, a free transfer of the movable property from the ownership of the Czech Republic to the property of a local self-government unit or other person in connection with the resolution of an emergency or crisis situation;
(b) to negotiate, to the extent necessary, the free use of the movable property owned by the Czech Republic, in total or by another person, in connection with the resolution of an emergency or crisis situation or the removal of its consequences;
(c) for the purposes of humanitarian aid granted abroad in the context of emergency management and the consequences thereof, to the extent necessary, arrange for a free transfer of the movable property from ownership of the Czech Republic to another person;
(d) negotiate the transfer of assets of another person to the property of the Czech Republic for the purposes of its use under points (a) to (c). "
4. Paragraph 43 (2) is deleted.
Paragraph 3 shall become paragraph 2.
5. In Article 43 (2), the words "or 2 'are deleted and the words" acquisition of property' are inserted after the words "adjusting '.
Čl. II
Transitional provision
From the date of entry into force of this Act, the Ministry of the Interior shall act as the institution for the State Institute of Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Protection.

ČÁST DRUHÁ

Amendment of the Fire Protection Act
Čl. III
In Article 65 (1) (a) of Act No. 133 / 1985 Coll., on Fire Protection, as amended by Act No. 203 / 1994 Coll., Act No. 237 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 320 / 2015 Coll., the words ", School Unit under Section 9 of the Fire Rescue Corps Act 'are inserted after the word" Directorate'.

This Act shall take effect on the 15th day following its publication.
