of 14 June 2020
setting the deadline for the submission of the draft law on the Czech State Budget for 2021 to the Government and the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
(1) The Ministry of Finance will submit the draft Act on the State Budget of the Czech Republic for 2021 and the draft medium term perspective for 2022 and 2023 to the Government by 30 September 2020.
(2) In determining the total expenditure in the draft Act on the State Budget of the Czech Republic for 2021 and in adjusting the spending frameworks of the State Budget for the years 2021 to 2023, the Ministry of Finance will also take into account the expected macroeconomic developments in 2020, which will affect the macroeconomic situation between 2021 and 2023.
(3) Paragraph 8b of Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and amending certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended, does not apply.
(1) The Government will submit a draft Act on the State Budget of the Czech Republic for 2021 to the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic by 30 October 2020 at the latest.
(2) Paragraph 101 (1) of the First Act No. 90 / 1995 Coll., on the Rules of Procedure of the Chamber of Deputies shall not apply to the submission of the draft Act on the State Budget of the Czech Republic for 2021.
Efficacy
(1) This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
(2) This Act will cease to apply by the entry into force of the Act on the State Budget of the Czech Republic for 2021.
